Carterville Elementary Students of the Month for November focused on gratitude, learning ways they can show gratitude by: recognizing what others do for me, being thankful, appreciating what I have, returning kindness, and appreciating the people in their lives. In the month of December Carterville students focused on what it means to be generous. They learned they can can show generosity by: not expecting anything in return, being a good person, giving out compliments, sharing their time and talents, offering to help, being encouraging, being kind and sharing personal items.
