Summa cum laude grads announced

Members of the 2022 Class of Webb City High School achieving summa cum laude status have been announced.

The eight graduating with the highest academic distinction are: 

  • Ashlynn Atkins
  • Charity Brower
  • Rachel Davison
  • Baylor Dickinson
  • Connor Peterson
  • Morgan Robinson
  • Zoe Still
  • Aidan Wiggins

Commencement for the class, which numbers 308, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Cardinal Stadium.

Baccalaureate will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Ronald R. Barton Performing Arts Center.

One tradition started during the pandemic may carry on. It’s the parade of seniors, which is set for Monday evening in front of Cardinal Dome.

The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
