The Webb City Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, regarding the amount of the 2023 tax levy.
If the city maintains its current levy of $0.7049 per $100 assessed valuation, it is anticipated that revenue will increase by $25,155. That’s apparently not enough to require a reduction of the tax levy.
Of that $14,226 is the result of collecting the tax levy on new construction.
And $10,929 is the result of reassessed property values.
