Lady Cardinals host Southwest Shootout

Cardinal Stadium was the site of the four-game Southwest Missouri Shootout Friday and Saturday. 

The Lady Cardinals lost 0-1 to Jefferson City on Friday and 1-4 to Columbia Hickman on Saturday.

Carl Junction lost 0-3 to Hickman on Friday and 0-2 to Jefferson City on Saturday.

Webb City was also home Tuesday for a 0-5 loss to Willard.

The 5-7 Lady Cardinals are next at Parkview Thursday and at Ozark Tuesday.

Their last home game will be Thursday, May 8 against Neosho.

Redbird Relays Friday

Webb City track and field will host the annual Redbird Relays Friday afternoon.

Last week Friday, the Cardinals were at Carl Junction’s Bulldog Invitational. Here are the boys and girls results.

Baseball’s at home vs Parkview

The 9-11 baseball Cardinals have four games coming up, including two at home.

They’ll entertain Parkview today (Thursday) and Ozark Tuesday. In between those games, they’ll be at Springdale, Ark., Friday and Branson Saturday.

They defeated Miami 5-4 Saturday but lost 16-3 at Willard on Monday.
