Three Webb City firefighters promoted
Webb City Fire Chief Andrew Roughton promoted three of the department’s firefighters Monday at the start of the City Council meeting at City Hall.
Jeremy Denton was promoted from captain to battalion chief, succeeding Mark Metsker, who recently retired. Denton has been with the department since 2004. His new badge was pinned on him by his wife, Marsha.
Gary Davis, was promoted from driver/engineer to captain. He also has been with the department since 2004. His wife, Brittany, pinned him.
Doug Moore, with the department since 2012, was promoted from firefighter to driver/engineer. He was pinned by his wife, Marie.
