Webb City was represented at the state wrestling championships at Columbia last weekend by three wrestlers. Unfortunately, they didn’t advance to the medal stand.
Maddie Barchak was the first girl from Webb City to wrestle at state. She placed third at 160 pounds in the Class 3 District 3 tournament in order to advance.
Loudon Bolinger took second place at 215 pounds at districts.
Jordan White, at 285, earned a spot on the state bracket by placing fourth at district.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
