More than 300 were served a full Thanksgiving dinner for free Sunday, Nov. 19, at Veterans Hall.

Veterans cook Thanksgiving dinner and serve it free to the community

Members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars gave back to the community Sunday, Nov. 19, as they always do, by cooking a free Thanksgiving dinner at Veterans Hall.

They get help providing table service by members of a local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

Bobbie Wooten, of the American Legion Auxiliary, reports that 365 meals were served. “We loved doing it.”
