On Friday, they split their two matches at the Willard Scramble. They lost 1-2 (25-11, 18-25, 21-25) to 13-3-3 Camdenton but came back to defeat 12-8-1 Branson 2-1 (25-10, 15-25, 25-9).

Jaylee VanBecelaere led the Cardinals attack Tuesday against Kickapoo with 7 kills. Savannah Crane had 21 sets. And Avery Gardner had 11 digs.

Next up after Republic will be the Carl Junction tournament on Saturday. On Tuesday, Webb City will be at Carthage.
