Wednesday, March 23

Saturday, March 5

14:41 – I received a call from a victim in Crawford County, Kan., who wanted to report that her stolen cell phone had been located at Walmart. The stolen phone was recovered from the ATM at Wal Mart and later returned to the victim. A report was taken.

17:41 – Officers responded to 517 N. Webb St. for a past-tense burglary.

10:52 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for motor vehicle crash.

Sunday, March 6

14:54 – Officers responded to a disturbance at 1227 W. First St. A report of domestic assault was filed.

17:43 – I was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St., 2F, for a burglary. The resident arrived home after three months of absence and found two unknown subjects sleeping in her living room. The suspects fled upon being discovered.

11:54 – I was dispatched to 405 W. 15th St. for a violation of a protective order. The victim reported her ex-boyfriend violated the order by texting her multiple times.

Wednesday, March 9

22:10 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to an assault in progress. As a result of the call for service a report was taken for domestic assault and forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office for review.

Thursday, March 10

17:09 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting.

Officers responded to the Webb City Police Department to take a walk-in report of a domestic assault that occurred at Sleep Inn & Suites. A summons has been issued to one male.

Saturday, March 12

23:56 – I observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at Macarthur and ellis and a traffic stop was made. As a result a 22-year-old was issued a citation for driving while suspended.

Sunday, March 13

01:41 – I was eastbound on Fountain Road from Lakeview Road when I observed a passenger vehicle commit several traffic violations and a traffic stop was made. A 28-year-old male was arrested for DWI, driving while revoked and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

13:31 – I was dispatched to 823 S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance in progress. One male, was issued a citation for harassment.

14:46 – An 18-year-old was arrested for possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana at the NAPA parking lot at 1899 S. Madison St.

17:30 – An officer was notified by dispatch that an individual from 420 N. Pennsylvania St. had some stolen items to report. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.

Monday, March 14

15:12 – I was dispatched to Madison and Fourth streets in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

Officers took an information report at Arvest Bank, 1515 W. MacArthur Drive.

Officers responded to MacArthur Drive and College Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

Tuesday, March 15

09:15 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. A 27-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance.

11:23 – I was dispatched to 1215 W. 14th St. for a past-tense theft.

16:40 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a stolen license plate at Ellis Point, 1502 S. Ellis St.

20:42 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference a past-tense theft. One adult male was charged with stealing and trespassing.

19:43 – An officer responded to Walmart in reference to a hit and run.

Wednesday, March 16

18:56 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense fraud report. The victim reported his debit/credit card as being fraudulently used at Casey’s General Store, 337 S. Main St.

19:32 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting that had just occurred. I arrested one 22-year-old female and positively identified a 26-year-old male suspect who fled on foot when officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle near the Plaza Apartments at 1707 Redwood Drive.

22:43 – Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Tom St. for a subject requesting transport to the hospital for a psychiatric emergency. The subject was transported without incident.

10:02 – An officer made a traffic stop in the 1600 block of S. Oronogo Street. One adult female was taken into custody.

20:38 – Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 78-year-old female driver was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.

18:14 – An officer took a report about a peace disturbance that occurred at Zora Street and Range Line Road.

Thursday, March 17

12:26 – I was dispatched to 1202 S. Madison St. Suit A in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, one subject was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.

12:57 – I responded to 621 N. Madison St. in reference to narcotics, which were located, and a report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

11:57 – I was dispatched to Fourth and Main streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.

19:10– Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Rudondo Drive for a possible runaway. One juvenile was located and returned to their guardian.

20:07 – Officers responded to are 740 Jillian Lane for a disturbance in progress.

08:45 – I was dispatched to 1023 W. Broadway for a past-tense property damage.

Friday, March 18

15:29 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. After checking the store with the store’s loss prevention team for a couple of minutes, we were able to find the suspect in about the middle of the store. The suspect was arrested for two counts of shoplifting and trespassing. The suspect was then transported to WCPD.

23:11 – I was notified of a possible interference with custody that occurred at 621 N. Oronogo St.

Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non injury accident at Macarthur Drive and Oakland Street.
