18:12 – I was dispatched to 2005 Chickadee Drive regarding a disturbance in progress. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Duquesne Police Department.
Saturday, June 15
21:02 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo and 14th streets. One 28-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI.
Sunday, June 16
01:39 – A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle that parked in the driveway of 823 S. Jefferson St. A 34-year-old female was taken into custody for an active Webb City warrant.
11:56 – An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Centennial Street and MacArthur Drive (roundabout) in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury vehicle crash.
21:09 – An officer observed a vehicle cross over the white lane marker and drive in two lanes almost striking a median in the process near MacArthur Drive and Ball Street. I conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle shortly after. The driver, a 38-year-old male, was arrested for DWI.
Monday, June 17
08:05 – I stopped a vehicle at 388 S. Madison St. for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while revoked, and a Webb City warrant.
10:39 – Officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of S. Madison St. in reference to a crash that had just occurred. One vehicle reportedly left the scene. The suspect was positively identified. Charges were submitted to municipal court.
12:34 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. The caller stated she left her change behind at a register and someone took it when she left.
16:02 – I received a call for service at Webb City Health and Rehab, 2077 Stadium Drive in reference to a missing person. A report was taken.
17:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Roane St. for a runaway.
23:07 – Officers were dispatched to 610 S. Madison St. in reference to a check well-being. One male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
Tuesday, June 18
07:13 – An officer was dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Street in reference to a non-injury crash.
11:34 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a possible wanted person at that location. One 52-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant.
14:41 – I arrived at 210 S. Ball St., where the caller reported her family member had taken several household items and failed to return them.
15:23 – I was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Roane St. for a reported sex offense on a minor.
18:08 – Officers responded to 1100-362 W. 14th St. in reference to a theft.
21:02 – Officers were dispatched to 1142 Woodland Drive for a fraud call.
22:51 – Officers were dispatched to 1603 S. Ellis St. Apt. 230 in reference to a nuisance complaint. One female was issued a citation for peace disturbance.
Wednesday, June 19
10:18 – I was dispatched to 1836 S. Oronogo St. #10C for a domestic. The reporting party stated that a verbal argument turned into a physical altercation. The other party had left prior to officer’s arrival.
14:18 – While on patrol, I was flagged down near the roundabout by subjects informing me that a two-vehicle, non-injury crash had just occurred.
116:37 – An officer was dispatched to 1902 W. Fifth St. in reference to a theft.
22:45 – An officer responded to a traffic stop that had been conducted by an officer near Eighth and Jefferson streets. A 42-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
23:19 – At the intersection of Madison Street and MacArthur Drive, officers conducted a traffic stop. One 18-year-old female was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance.
Thursday, June 20
05:01 – I was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Pennsylvania St. and took a report for the non-consensual distribution of online explicit materials.
12:27 – Officers were called to WCPD for a suspicious male appearing impaired. The suspect, who reportedly left the area driving erratically, was located and arrested for driving while intoxicated.
15:37 – I initiated a vehicle stop in the area of Hall Street and Cardinal Drive for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently taken into custody for traffic offenses.
21:03 – I initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Eighth and Madison streets. A 32-year-old male was taken into custody for an active Jasper County warrant.
22:22 – An officer responded to a traffic stop that had been conducted by an officer near Zora Street and Range Line Road. The driver, a 24-year-old female, was arrested for DWI drugs.
Friday, June 21
12:27 – I was dispatched the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
13:10 – I was dispatched to 1302 W. Austin St. for a past-tense domestic. The suspect was taken into custody.
17:17 – I was dispatched to 741 Wilson St. for harassment.
17:39 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. One 24-year-old female was arrested.
23:23 – I made a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Kennedy Lane in reference an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Saturday, June 22
10:01 – I received a call for service at 1011 W. Mineral in reference to found property.
13:27 – I was dispatched to Cardinal Stop, 306 N. Main St., for a past-tense shoplifting.
13:43 – An officer was flagged down at Walmart in reference to a parking violation. One 34-year-old female for an outstanding arrest warrant.
15:39 – I received a call for service at the Wasche laundry mat, 615-B East St., in reference to a leaving-the-scene accident that occurred on the parking lot.
20:05 – An officer was dispatched to Wasche, 612-B East St. for a report of property damage. One 39-year-old male was taken into custody for assault.
21:14 – An officer responded to a traffic stop that had been conducted by an officer near 612 Easton Drive. A 39-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
