Tuesday, Sept. 24
14:26 – Officers made a traffic stop near Enterprise and Red Iron drives. One driver was arrested for an expired driver’s license.
15:06 – Officers took a report of theft at 735 Zigler St.
16:50 – Officers responded to a non-injury car crash at the roundabout.
19:41 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to peace disturbance that was occurring at 915 W. Ninth St.
20:17 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Jefferson Street. One female was taken into custody for outstanding warrants out of Jasper.
18:50 – Officers were dispatched to 1223 W. Austin St. in reference to a subject there with an active felony warrant out of Jasper County. A 27-year-old male was taken into custody.
I was dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense assault that occurred at 1723 Redwood Dr.
10:46 – I received a call for service at 300 W. Broadway in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
14:57 – I received a call for service at 1032 W. Nelson St. in reference to dogs at large, and dog bite in the 1000 block of W. Daugherty St.
16:53 – I received a call for service at 511 N. Elliott St. in reference to trespassing.
19:57 – On 09/29/2024 at 1957 hours, an officer was dispatched to 1605 S Ellis St in reference to property damage. As a result, a report was taken.
20:58 – On 09/29/24 at 2058 hours, officers were dispatched to 1428 S Jefferson Pl for a disturbance. As a result a 27-year-old male was arrested for domestic and endangering the welfare of a child.
23:16 – On 09/29/2024 at 2316 hours, I took custody of an adult male at 211 W. Broadway in reference outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Monday, Sept. 30
01:18 – On 09/30/2024 at 0118 hours, an officer made a traffic stop at W Macarthur Dr and S Oakland St. As a result, one white male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Carthage Police Department.
05:53 – I was dispatched to MO 171 and Prairie Flower Road for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
14:30 – An officer was dispatched to 1011 Nelson St. in reference to an animal complaint.
19:16 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle, injury crash.
Tuesday, Oct. 1
01:14 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a warrant arrest. A 39-year-old male was taken into custody.
14:00 – An officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Oronogo Street for a moving violation. One 40-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
16:00 – I was contacted at WCPD about a past-tense property damage at 2024 Redbird Drive.
16:17 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a leaving-the-scene motor vehicle crash.
21:14 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Stadium and Colonial drives. A 22-year-old male was arrested on Jasper County warrants.
22:08 – Officers were dispatched to 817 S. Madison St. for a domestic past-tense.
Wednesday, Oct. 2
05:24 – I took a walk-in report at WCPD for theft of a motor vehicle that occurred at 219 S. Roane St.
10:13 – I conducted a pedestrian check at 1040 W. Broadway. A male was subsequently arrested for Carthage and Newton warrants.
Thursday, Oct. 3
I was contacted by a Department of Family Services investigator who told me he had been assigned a case involving a juvenile making threats to another on school property in the 600 block of Aylor St. (Webb City Middle School).
10:05 – I was dispatched to 1122 W. Broadway for a motorist assist.
11:59 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Liberty St. in reference to a suicidal subject. One 21-year-old male was taken into custody for a mental health evaluation.
13:05 – Officers were dispatched to 1732 Redwood Drive No. 150 in reference to a disturbance. One 28-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
14:06 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense trespassing at 808 Meadow Circle.
21:13 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Broadway. A 36-year-old female was taken into custody for active warrants out our agency and a verbal warning was given for defective equipment.
21:27 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oakland Street and MacArthur Drive. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Carthage.
Friday, Oct. 4
12:28 – An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of Chickadee Drive for a suicidal suspect. A female was transported to Freeman West for a mental evaluation.
18:48 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. for a trespass in progress. A 50-year-old male was taken into custody.
19:49 – I was dispatched to Take A Break, 417 S. Main St. regarding a disturbance in progress. A 19-year-old male was cited.
Saturday, Oct. 5
08:27 – I was dispatched to Range Line Road and Zora Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
08:30 – An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of Bluejay Drive reference a runaway child.
14:40 – Officers were dispatched to 422 N Madison St. in reference to an assault. One 37-year-old male was transported to Freeman Hospital for a 96-hour mental evaluation.
Sunday, Oct. 6
21:08 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Daugherty St. for a sex offense.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
