Saturday, Oct. 5
00:59 – I observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street. A 48-year-old female was arrested for DWI.
14:16 – Officers were dispatched to 202 S. Hall St. reference an assault that just occurred. A 49-year-old female was arrested on multiple charges.
21:01 – I was dispatched to 409 N. Webb St. in reference to a disturbance with a weapon. An 18-year-old male was arrested on the charges of unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
22:27 – I initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Ball Street. A 27-year-old male was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
23:13 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a check well-being at 409 N. Webb St. An investigation was initiated.
Sunday, Oct. 6
00:04 – Officers responded to 409 N. Webb St. for a follow-up to a separate case. While completing the investigation, a 40-year-old male was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to identify, and active warrants from Joplin and Jasper County.
13:30 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft of a trailer that occurred from 509 N. Oronogo St. the morning of Oct. 2.
15:13 – I made a traffic stop on MacArthur Drive near Ball Street. The driver had an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody.
15:20 – Officers were dispatched to Seventh and Madison streets in reference to a three-vehicle, injury, crash, with one vehicle fleeing the scene.
17:09 – An officer was dispatched to 501-M S. Madison St. for a report of theft of property.
18:05 – I was dispatched to 513 N. Webb St. regarding a domestic assault in progress.
19:29 – I took a report for a road rage incident that occurred at the intersection of Madison and 13th streets.
23:17 – Officers responded to 502 N. Oak St. for a domestic in progress. One 50-year-old male was taken into custody for Webb City warrants.
23:56 – Officers were dispatched to 612 N. Devon St. for a check well-being. A 42-year-old male was arrested for trafficking and charges are being sent to the prosecutors office for review.
Monday, Oct. 7
13:56 – I was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., for a theft that just occurred. The subjects were identified.
19:37 – An officer was dispatched to 1400 W. Austin St. in reference to a bicycle theft.
21:48 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 15th streets for lane violations. A 42-year-old female was arrested for driving while revoked.
22:48 – On 10/07/2024 at 2248 hours, I was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis Apt 50 in reference a domestic in progress. As a result, one adult male was charged with 1st degree Assault-special victim and 2nd Degree Domestic Assault.
Tuesday, Oct. 8
10:25 – An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Tom St. in reference to a check well-being request. One 74-year-old male was found deceased. An investigation revealed natural causes for the death.
16:43 – I was dispatched to 810 W. Austin St. for a burn complaint. A citation was issued.
16:46 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Aylor streets in reference to a registration violation. A 39-year-old male was cited for failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and arrested on his Webb City warrant.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
06:45 – An officer was dispatched to 822 N. Oak St. for a report of a stolen firearm.
08:14 – I was dispatched to 1817 W. Aylor St. for a past-tense property damage.
10:22 – I was dispatched to 1401 S. Madison St. for a past-tense theft.
12:02 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft and forgery. The victims live in the 1800 block of Chickadee Drive but reported the crimes occurred in another state.
13:45 – An officer was dispatched to 200 S. Main St. for a warrant arrest.
16:06 – I was dispatched to 1525 Brewster Lane for suspicious activity.
18:58 – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of S. Madison St. for juvenile offenses.
19:55 – Officers were dispatched to 906 S. Hall St. for a domestic.
Thursday, Oct. 10
18:07 – I took a report for a motor vehicle accident at the roundabout, where one of the involved vehicles left the scene.
21:52 – I was dispatched to 725 W. Austin St. for a disturbance in progress.
Friday, Oct. 11
09:09 – I was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. Apt. 501 for a domestic in progress. A subject was taken into custody.
11:32 – An officer was dispatched to 917 W. First St. in reference to a past-tense theft report.
12:03 – I was dispatched to 424 N. Roane St. for past-tense threats that occurred at 220 S. Pennsylvania St..
13:52 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury crash.
16:18 – Officers arrived at the 1300 block of S. Oronogo St. to assist the Department of Family Services with a hotline.
21:22 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur and Hall streets in reference a license violation. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Saturday, Oct. 12
10:54 – I received a call for service in reference to a motor vehicle accident at the roundabout.
14:23 – I was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Alpine Court, for a suicidal subject, who was transported to Freeman Hospital on a 96-hour hold.
14:35 – An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Ellis St. in reference to a sexual assault.
14:39 – I received a call for service at 324 N. Tom St. in reference to stolen property.
16:51 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a harassment complaint which began at 415 N. Colonial Dr. A report was submitted to the municipal prosecutor.
