Sunday, July 10

21:06 – An officer on routine patrol near 1414 Nelson St. observed two dogs running at large and was flagged down by a citizen. As a result of the contact with the citizen, a 58-year-old male was cited for animal at large and vicious animal.

Wednesday, July 13

15:38 – Officers were dispatched to 4452 Country Boulevard for a disturbance. A 22-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault.

17:36 – Officers were dispatched to 1338 Matthew Circle in reference to a past-tense domestic assault. A 48-year-old male was issued a citation.

Friday, July 15

00:39 – An officer was dispatched to 514 N. Hall St. in reference to found property.

Saturday, July 16

20:24 – An officer was notified of an ex-parte violation that had occurred at 702 W. Daugherty St. Information was obtained and charges for violation of an ex-parte will be sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office on a 48-year-old male.

20:37 – An officer was dispatched to 1420 W. 14th St. in reference to a possible counterfeit bill.

Sunday, July 17

00:41 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Crow streets for an equipment violation. The 48-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for numerous offenses, including possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in drugs 2nd degree, DWI – alcohol/drug combination, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container of alcohol, and unlawful use of a weapon.

07:30 – I took a report of theft at Take-A-Break, 417 S. Main St. The victim had their credit card number used to purchase fuel.

09:21 – Officers were dispatched to Murphy USA, 1224 S Madison St., reference a gas drive off.

09:35 – I was dispatched to 4551 E. Zora St. for a past-tense theft.

12:17 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

14:45 – I took a report of a past-tense theft from 1607 Gold Stream Drive. The victim stated a known female suspect stole checks from his residence and cashed them. Charges have been sent to the suspect.

16:49 – Officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of S. Hall St., reference an animal complaint. A subject received citations for animal at large and vicious animal.

22:01 – Officers responded to a second degree robbery at Walmart. One male subject was taken into custody.

17:50 – I was dispatched to 414 N. Liberty St. for a found item. The item was secured and later put into evidence for safe keeping.

17:50 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting.

Monday, July 18

11:47 – I received a call for service at 1504 S. Washington St. in reference to theft.

18:35 – An officer was dispatched to contact Mercy Hospital in Springfield in reference to a possible first-degree child molestation that occurred in Webb City. The investigation has been turned over to our detectives.

13:18 – An officer took a report of a protection order violation at 702 W. Daugherty St. Information was obtained and charges on a 48-year-old male will be sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.

09:33 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft of credit card information which occurred at 2515 N. Range Line Road. A report was taken.

Tuesday, July 19

07:46 – I was dispatched to 1276 S. Madison St. to assist another officer for a warrant service. But I was diverted to Walmart for a theft in progress. The suspect was located leaving the store and taken into custody.

08:41 – I observed a vehicle I recognized from a previous stealing case at Walmart. I stopped the vehicle and the driver was arrested for stealing and drug offenses.

11:52 – I was dispatched to Take-A-Break, 417 S. Main St., in reference to subject smoking narcotics in a vehicle with a child. The vehicle was located in the area and the subject was taken into custody without incident.

22:28 – I made a traffic stop near Ellis St. and Fountain Drive in reference multiple traffic violations. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

18:20 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a walk-in report of an incident that occurred at 607 S. Hall St. 

Wednesday, July 20

16:54 – Officers conducted a traffic stop and wound up seizing a Missouri license plate at Colonial Drive and Aylor Street.

22:18 – Officers were dispatched to 118 S. Hall St. for a disturbance. Charges for assault and endangering the welfare of a child will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 36-year-old female.

Thursday, July 21

08:22 – Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of S. Hall St. reference a suspicious vehicle. A report was taken for stolen vehicle and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

12:41 – Officers were dispatched to 13th and Madison streets reference threats to do harm. A male subject was taken into custody for assault and peace disturbance.

16:27 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. 10th St. reference a stolen smart phone.

11:04 – I was dispatched to 1411 Gold Stream for a past-tense theft.

19:53 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a subject shoplifting. Charges will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

22:09 – Officers were dispatched to 815 W. Daugherty St. for a disturbance.

Friday, July 22

18:10 – I made a traffic stop near Betenbough Way and Prairie Flower Road in reference an equipment violation. One adult male was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, and open container.

21:20 – I was dispatched to 300 S. Madison St. lot 13 in reference a check well being. Two adults were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

23:33 – An officer made a traffic stop at 16th and Washington streets. One adult male was taken into custody.

Saturday, July 23

01:26 –  I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to traffic violations. One adult male was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
