22:49 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S Oronogo St. Apt 9F in reference to a past-tense domestic assault. A 30-year-old male was cited for domestic assault.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
22:14 – Officers were dispatched to 202 S. Oronogo St. in reference to peace disturbance. One adult male was given a citation for peace disturbance.
Friday, Dec. 6
18:57 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a black Honda Civic with registration violations. A traffic stop was initiated at Third and Main streets, where a 37-year-old male was taken into custody for operating without a valid drivers license.
19:00 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Madison Street and MacArthur Drove in reference to a two vehicle, non-injury, crash.
Saturday, Dec. 7
16:14 – I was dispatched to Aylor and East streets for a check well-being on a older male who had collapsed. He was taken to a hospital via ambulance.
21:09 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for registration violations at Ball Street and MacArthur Drive. One male was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers license.
Sunday, Dec. 8
02:04 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Hall Street in reference to the registered owner of the vehicle having an active warrant. A 32-year-old male was taken into custody.
07:20 – Officers were dispatched to 408 N. Devon St. for a disturbance. I took a report for domestic assault.
13:57 – An officer was dispatched to 723 N. Walker St. in reference to a theft.
23:50 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Galena streets. One adult male was taken into custody with charges for trafficking drugs in the first degree sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
Monday, Dec. 9
07:39 – Officers responded to the intersection of Fourth and Jefferson streets for a non-injury crash.
10:03 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 404 N. Hall St. between Dec. 4 and Dec. 10.
12:40 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to the fraudulent use of a debit card at Murphy USA.
20:19 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting.
22:33 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at College Street and MacArthur Drive on a red GMC Yukon for a registration violations. A 40-year-old male was taken into custody for Joplin warrants.
05:09 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Gold Dust Drive in reference to a theft.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
12:15 – I arrived in the 600 block of W. Aylor St. reference two separate assaults on a male and female juveniles by another female juvenile. The suspect was arrested and transported to the juvenile detention center.
15:37 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. Two juveniles were identified and a report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
21:06 – A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of Sixth and Madison streets. A 28-year-old female was taken into custody and issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
05:11 – Officers were dispatched to Austin and Ash streets for gunshots heard.
08:51 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a non-injury accident.
11:07 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a lost/stolen phone that was reported at 1228 W. Seventh St. on Oct. 14.
12:20 – I was contacted at the station in reference to threats made at 603 W. Aylor St. on Dec. 10. A report of peace disturbance was taken.
14:32 – An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Galena St. in reference to a possible sexual assault. Information was forwarded to the investigations division.
15:57 – I was dispatched to Walmart for shoplifting.
17:45 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting. A subject was cited.
22:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. One female was cited and released.
23:59 – I was dispatched to 1302 W. Austin St. in reference to a past-tense burglary.
Thursday, Dec. 12
08:45 – An officer was dispatched to 4497 E. Zora St. in reference to a violation of a protective order. Information was forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
15:08 – Officers were dispatched to a vehicle crash near Seventh and Madison streets.
15:43 – I was dispatched to 2301 N. Range Line Road, for a past-tense theft.
17:30 – Officers were dispatched to North Main Street and Wingfield Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
19:56 – An officer was dispatched to 826 W. Austin St. in reference to an identity theft.
23:53 – Officers were dispatched to 328 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. One female was taken into custody for peace disturbance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Friday, Dec. 13
01:11 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Main Street and Finch Drive. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
02:31 – An officer was on patrol when he observed a suspicious male at 1883 S. Madison St. The 39-year-old was taken into custody for Webb City warrants.
09:26 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Madison Street and Mt. Hope Road for a traffic violation. One 34-year-old female was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
10:30 – I was dispatched to Madison and Seventh streets for a two-vehicle, injury accident.
Saturday, Dec. 14
07:35 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to stolen property pinging in the area. One 20-year-old male was taken into custody.
14:20 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of S. Madison St. in reference to a two vehicle, non-injury crash.
15:45 – Officers were dispatched to 13th and Madison streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
20:39 – Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ball and Arch streets. One 60-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
