Monday, Dec. 30

20:42 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when a white Jeep with equipment violations was observed at 13th and Madison streets. A 22-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

12:00 – I was contacted at the station in reference to identity theft while living near Oronogo and First streets. The victim reported she had been contacted by the IRS about unreported income for the 2024 tax year.

Friday, Jan. 3

21:01 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Seventh streets for lane violations. A 63-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant out of the City of Carthage and was given a warning for the lane violation.

Saturday, Jan. 4

01:51 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near MacArthur and Colonial drives in reference to lane violations. A 22-year-old female was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Joplin, and the 22-year-old male driver was cited for driving while suspended.

19:35 – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Jefferson Circle in reference to a deceased subject.

Sunday, Jan. 5

00:50 – I observed a vehicle at East and Galena streets with expired registration. A 43-year-old female was arrested for warrants.

06:50 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt 5D in reference to a disturbance in progress. One 18-year-old male was taken into custody.

12:33 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

14:13 – I was dispatched to 201-1 N. Main St. for a past-tense burglary.

18:03 – Officers responded to 211 W. Broadway for a past-tense harassment that occurred at 224 S Ball St. A summons was issued.

Monday, Jan. 6

10:22 – I was dispatched to East and Daugherty streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

13:31 – I stopped the operator of a motorized bicycle near Main and Second streets for a traffic violation. A 46-year-old man was arrested for driving while revoked.

13:54 – Officers were dispatched to 1225 S Jefferson St. reference a past-tense property damage.

19:00 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Main and First streets. One female was arrested.

19:56 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart regarding a shoplifting in progress. The investigation continues.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

02:53 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Oronogo St. for a burglary.

16:34 – I conducted a traffic stop on Zora Street roundabout construction site. The driver was taken into custody for driving while revoked and multiple warrants.

20:07 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. Charges will be sent to the prosecutor’s office on a 38-year-old female for shoplifting.

22:22 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Zora and Hall streets for failing to obey traffic control devices. One male was arrested for Duquesne warrants.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

07:17 – Officers were dispatched to Broadway and College Street a three-vehicle crash with unknown injuries.

07:50 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a past-tense weapons violation. An investigation was initiated and charges for unlawful use were forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

08:00 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

09:24 – I was dispatched to 701 E. Daugherty St., for an information report.

18:06 – Officers were dispatched to 220 S. East St. in reference to an ex-parte violation in progress. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody for violating an active protection order.

19:46 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. One male was taken into custody and held in lieu of bond.

21:22 – On 01/08/2025 at 2122 hours officers were dispatched to 211 W Broadway St for a warrant confirmation. As a result, one 37-year-old male was taken into custody for a Webb City warrant.

Thursday, Jan. 9

11:49 – I received a call for service at 501 S. Ellis St. in reference to a possible disturbance. A male was subsequently arrested for a Joplin warrant.

13:24 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Zora and Hall streets in reference to a traffic violation. One 27-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.

23:46 – Officers were dispatched to 711 N. Walker St. in reference to an assault.

Friday, Jan. 10

16:02 – I was dispatched to an intoxicated subject driving a gold Jeep at Dawson Drive and Hall Street. A 29-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

16:15 – I was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., for found narcotics. An employee found suspected illegal drugs in the employee area of the store.

16:43 – I was dispatched to Powell and Shawn drives for a one vehicle, with injuries, accident.

Saturday, Jan. 11

00:30 – Officers were dispatched to 66 Bar, 660 E. Daughtery St., for a trespass in progress.

11:45 – I was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street. A 46-year-old female was arrested for DWI.
