23:05 – Officers were dispatched to White Oak Station, 411 S. Madison St., in reference to felony property damage.
Tuesday, Jan. 14
04:04 – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a bicycle at Jefferson and Austin streets for bicycle violations. The bicyclist fled and was unable to be located by officers. His bike was seized.
21:56 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Hall Street in reference to an equipment violation. A 42-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Joplin PD.
Thursday, Jan. 16
11:44 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash.
21:56 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Zora and Hall streets. A 67-year-old male was cited for property damage.
Friday, Jan. 17
18:29 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense burglary that occurred at 22 S. Pennsylvania St.
20:02 – Officers were dispatched to Main Street and Stadium Drive in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Saturday, Jan. 18
19:04 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting. One 38-year-old female was cited for shoplifting.
21:09 – Officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. One 42-year-old female was issued a summons for shoplifting.
Sunday, Jan. 19
02:28 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at First and Roane streets. The 17-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while revoked and driving while intoxicated.
07:00 – While on patrol, I saw black smoke coming from the house at 310 W. Galena St. Upon arrival, I saw fire engulfing the east side of the house.
21:03 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to theft in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for shoplifting.
Monday, Jan. 20
00:00 – I was dispatched to 502 N. Walker St. in reference to a past-tense fraud. One adult male was charged with stealing.
19:47 – Officers responded to a call of a vehicle blocking the roadway at Aylor and East streets. A 22-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI.
Tuesday, Jan. 21
07:21 – An officer was dispatched to 1933 Bluebird and 1907 Redbird drives for a report of theft from motor vehicle.
09:30 – A caller reported an assault in the 100 block of West Broadway. An investigation for domestic assault and kidnapping was initiated.
21:24 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Finch and Red Bird drives for an equipment violation. One 54-year-old male was taken into custody for giving false information to an officer.
Wednesday, Jan. 22
09:07 – I conducted a traffic stop on a SUV at the Hall Street and Zora Street roundabout.
12:30 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a person wishing to give information in reference to a potential crime that had occurred in December 2024 at 1899 S. Madison St.
22:25 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Broadway and Roane Street. One male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
22:56 – I was dispatched to 409 N. Webb St. in reference a warrant service. One adult male was taken into custody for multiple warrants for his arrest.
Thursday, Jan. 23
03:34 – Officers were dispatched to 4551 E. Zora St. in reference to property damage. An adult male was taken into custody.
07:44 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Madison and Aylor streets in reference to a traffic violation. One 31-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended and for an active warrant.
11:20 – I received a call for service at 914 W. Third St. in reference to an explosion. It was found that a propane heater in a travel trailer had failed and caught the travel trailer on fire. No injuries were reported
11:21 – Officers were dispatched to 13th and Madison streets in reference to a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries.
11:33 – I received a call at Broadway and Madison Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
18:20 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. A 50-year-old female and 50-year-old male were cited for the offense.
Friday, Jan. 24
03:38 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to an item that was lost or stolen around 8 a.m. on Jan. at Walmart.
10:29 – I responded to Webb City High School in reference to peace disturbance. The involved juveniles were subsequently transported to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
Saturday, Jan. 25
01:05 – Officers were dispatched to 712 Wilson St. for a domestic that had just occurred. Citations were issued.
01:42 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Galena streets in reference to a lane violation. The 44-year-old male driver was issued multiple citations and was arrested for driving while revoked, DWI-aggravated, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
10:56 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of W. 15th St. for a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later found and returned to the parents.
21:05 – Officers completed a pedestrian check of a suspicious male at the roundabout construction site at Zora and Hall streets. One 40-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
