00:00 – Officers were called out to the 700 block of N. Elliot St. for a suicidal subject. One female was detained and transported to Mercy Hospital Joplin for a 96-hour mental health evaluation.
06:24 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Zora and Hall streets. One male was arrested for driving while suspended and a Newton County arrest warrant.
Sunday, Jan. 26
01:16 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 1st and East St to assist with a traffic stop conducted by Missouri Highway Patrol. A 19-year-old male was taken into custody for the offense of Minor Visibly Intoxicated.
02:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of S. Main St. for an assault in progress. One juvenile male was detained and later turned over to his guardian.
09:08 – Officers located misc. found items at WCPD.
11:20 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to internal shoplifting. A 33-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and drug trafficking.
12:24 – I was dispatched to 601 N. Liberty St. for threats, resulting in a report of peace disturbance.
15:00 – A wallet was turned in at WCPD.
19:49 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for trespassing.
19:58 – Officers received a call regarding abuse of a child that had been occurring in the 1600 block of S. Ellis St.
Monday, Jan. 27
07:50 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Zora and Hall streets for a traffic violation. One 26-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
14:35 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense motor vehicle accident that occurred on Jan. 23 at 08:30 hours.
14:38 – I was dispatched to Main and Aylor streets for a non-injury motor vehicle accident. Citations were issued.
14:50 – An officer was dispatched to Heritage Pre School, 1020 N. Webb St., in reference to a single-vehicle, private-property crash.
18:27 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred a 1824 W. Broadway.
Tuesday, Jan. 28
An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense assault, which occurred at 617 N Liberty St. on Jan. 21.
10:06 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a past-tense burglary at 222 W. Second St.
12:27 – I received a call for service at 114 S. Main St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
13:34 – I was dispatched to Atwood’s, 220 S. East St., for a report of shoplifting. The subject was later arrested that same day.
15:59 – Officers were dispatched to 4569 E. Zora St. in reference to a domestic in progress.
21:37 – An officer conducted a stop on a bicycle at 1551 S. Madison St. One adult male was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and active warrant.
Wednesday, Jan. 29
While on random patrol an officer observed a female hanging out of the driver side window of a black SUV at the intersection of Liberty and Daugherty streets. She appeared to be fighting with the male driver, who was cited for domestic assault.
16:49 – Dispatch received a call regarding a deceased person in the 1100 block of N. Oak Way Drive.
17:02 – I was dispatched to 1502 S. Ellis St. Apt. 81 for a past-tense theft.
17:24 – Officers were dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Jefferson Street in reference to a two vehicle, non-injury crash.
18:32 – Officers responded to Walmart for shoplifting. A 33-year-old female was taken into custody.
21:23 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 13th streets. The 18-year-old male driver was cited for multiple violations and was arrested for no valid driver’s license.
22:12 – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Redwood Drive for a runaway child. The child was safe when located later. The guardian then refused custody of the child, resulting in charges for child abandonment.
Thursday, Jan. 30
07:35 – I was dispatched to Main Street and Finch Drive for a motor vehicle crash.
14:05 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 62-year-old female was issued a citation for shoplifting.
Friday, Jan. 31
00:16 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Cedar and Mineral streets. Citations were issued.
06:36 – An officer was dispatched to 224 S. Madison Street in reference to a harassment.
09:00 – I received a call for service at 602 S. Madison St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
11:19 – An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of S. Madison St. in reference to a suicidal subject. One 22-year-old female was transported to Mercy Hospital Joplin for a 96-hour mental evaluation.
11:28 – I was dispatched to 523 S. Ellis St. for property damage.
11:51 – I received a call for service at the roundabout in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
15:16 – I was dispatched to Oronogo and Fourth streets for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
17:34 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of shoplifting.
18:33 – Officers responded to the roundabout for a non-injury crash.
Saturday, Feb. 1
10:07 – I was contacted at Walmart in reference to found property. A cell phone was found and later logged into lost/found property.
14:49 – Officers were dispatched to College Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries.
15:34 – An officer was dispatched to 408 Carson Way in reference to a past-tense theft.
16:33 – I was dispatched to 1214 W. Seventh St. for stolen firearms.
