19:28 – An officer was dispatched to 1400-214 W. Austin St. in reference to a civil call.
Wednesday, Feb. 26
08:06 – Officers were dispatched to 1707 Redwood Drive for a subject passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the parking lot. A 33-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
Thursday, Feb. 27
10:21 – I observed a vehicle with expired license plates and a traffic stop was made at Broadway and Tom Street. A 23-year-old male was arrested for driving while suspended.
17:20 – A vehicle was stopped at Madison and Daugherty streets for lane violation. The 55-year-old male driver was arrested for DWI.
Friday, Feb. 28
17:57 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a non-injury crash.
20:21 – Officers responded to Walmart for a property damage report involving a motor vehicle.
20:54 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a red Ford Explorer with a moving violation at Half Circle Road (Country Acres) and Hall Street. A summons was issued for driving without a license.
21:56 – Officers were dispatched to Dollar General, 1510 S. Madison St., in reference to a theft in progress.
Saturday, March 1
19:57 – Officers were dispatched to 1020 W. Daugherty St. for an assault in progress. Information was gathered for a report.
23:21 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Fountain Road and Madison Street. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Sunday, March 2
00:43 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Hall and Linden streets in reference to an equipment violation. The 17-year-old female driver was cited for defective equipment and driving while suspended.
21:04 – I made a traffic stop near Washington Street and Broadway in reference to a license violation and a wanted person. One adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Monday, March 3
00:34 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 10th and Madison streets. One male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
15:21 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Par Avenue reference a peace disturbance. A 46-year-old male was issued a citation for peace disturbance.
16:31 – An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Aylor Street to assist the Department of Family Services with the report of sexual misconduct of a minor.
18:00 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a fight in progress. One male was arrested for shoplifting and fighting in public.
20:08 – Officers attempted to stop a motorcycle at the intersection of 10th and Oronogo streets. One 47-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting, failing to yield, driving while suspended and misc. weapon violation.
23:06 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at RNR Tire Express, 2301 N. Range Line Road, for speed. A 45-year-old male was taken into custody for driving with an expired drivers license.
Tuesday, March 4
09:29 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
10:49 – Officers were dispatched to 1711 Redwood Drive for a child custody dispute. A 25-year-old woman was cited for peace disturbance.
13:42 – An officer was dispatched to 475 S. Madison St. for a non-injury crash.
16:40 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a female trespassing.
16:51 – I was dispatched to 712 Wilson St. for a domestic assault call. A 29-year-old male was cited for domestic assault.
19:06 – Officers responded to Tom and Galena streets for a report of a careless-and-imprudent driver. One 47-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI and open container.
20:24 – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Ellis St. regarding an incident involving a juvenile. The juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention center in Joplin.
23:57 – Officers were dispatched to 513 S. Devon St. for a domestic.
Wednesday, March 5
02:07 – Officers responded to the 1600 block of S. Ellis St. for a disturbance in progress. One 40-year-old male was cited and transported to Freeman Hospital for a self-commit.
09:34 – I was contacted at 211 W. Broadway by an investigator with Children Services in reference to a report of child abuse in the 4400 block of Country Boulevard, Country Acres.
Thursday, March 6
06:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Ginny Lane in reference to a check well-being. One 65-year-old male was transported to an area hospital for a mental evaluation.
13:45 – An officer was dispatched to the alley north of Express RX, 101 W. Daugherty St., in reference to a parking complaint. As a result, a 44-year-old female was taken into custody for an outstanding Webb City warrant.
22:57 – I was called to duty in reference to a reported child abuse case that allegedly happened in the 300 block of N. Pennsylvania St. An investigation was initiated.
Friday, March 7
21:30 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at 11th and Madison streets. One male was arrested for driving while revoked.
22:46 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Zora and Myrtle streets. One 41-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI and open container.
Saturday, March 8
10:14 – I was dispatched to Madison and Ninth streets, for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
19:21 – Officers were dispatched to City Pointe center, 501 S. Madison St. for a theft.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
