Monday, March 10

22:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling without their headlights at Madison Street Fountain Road. A 51-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and cited for no headlights when required.

Friday, March 14

18:06 – An officer conducted a pedestrian stop at First and Tom streets. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

20:30 – Officers were dispatched to 217 W. Austin St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. One 60-year-old male was taken into custody for trespassing, and a 57-year-old was taken into custody for a Newton county warrant.

23:52 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 14th streets for a defective equipment violation. A 22-year-old female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and cited for defective equipment.

Saturday, March 15

23:04 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement at Hall Street and Enterprise Avenue when he observed a silver Ford truck with equipment violations. A traffic stop was conducted and a 53-year-old male was taken into custody for Jasper County warrants.

Sunday, March 16

02:01 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement at 14th and Madison streets when he observed a silver Nissan with registration and moving violations. One 21-year-old was taken into custody for a Jasper County warrant.

11:43 – I received a call for service in the 900 block of W. First St. in reference to a deceased person. A report was taken.

12:11 – An officer was dispatched to Julian’s Cafe, 1897 S. Madison St., in reference to a private-property motor vehicle crash.

13:50 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to fraud and stealing at 1713 Boyer Place.

16:12 – I received a call for service at Ocean Adventures, 201 N. East St., in reference to a suspicious person. A male was subsequently arrested for Joplin warrants.

16:28 – Officers were dispatched to Hall Street Park, at Hall and Wood streets, in reference to a subject flourishing a handgun. One juvenile male was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the State of Missouri. The initial reported information was unsubstantiated.

21:10 – Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Redwood Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress. A report was taken and forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

Monday, March 17

I was dispatched to the 700 Block of W. Daugherty St. in reference to a suicidal subject. The subject was located and transported for medical assistance.

07:45 – I observed several people standing in the backyard of 911 W. First St. by a tent. Citations were issued to a 38-year-old male and a 46-year-old female for nuisance affecting health.

09:32 – An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. for a report of sexual misconduct involving a 5-year-old.

14:56 – I was dispatched to 1215 W. 14th St. in reference to items stolen from a storage unit.

21:29 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2360 N. Range Line Road. One male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

Tuesday, March 18

17:53 – I was dispatched to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Madison and Eighth streets.

Wednesday, March 19

12:12 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury crash.

13:25 – Officers were dispatched to City Hall reference a male subject with an active warrant. A 35-year-old male was taken into custody.

14:45 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD reference a male in the lobby with an active warrant. A 33-year-old male was taken into custody.

15:54 – An officer was dispatched to Third and Main streets in reference to a non-injury crash.

19:27 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13th and Madison streets in reference to a two-vehicle crash injury unknown.

22:17 – An officer made contact with a male at White Oak Station, 411 S. Madison St., who the officer knew had a felony warrant. The subject was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant and transported to the Jasper County Jail.

Thursday, March 20

01:03 – An officer was contacted via phone in reference to a child molestation that reportedly occurred at the end of 2022 at Plaza Apartments, 1700 block of Redwood Drive.

02:10 – Officers were running stationary radar on Range Line Road at Ten Pin Lane when a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated and a male was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license.

12:05 – I received a call for service at Pizza Hut, 1119 S. Madison St., in reference stealing by someone passing counterfeit money for merchandise.

13:37 – I received a call for service at 1117 W Broadway in reference to a past-tense domestic. A male was subsequently arrested by Carthage Police Department for domestic.

15:20 – I took a report of a past-tense theft (three weeks ago) from a shed at 402 N. Walker St.

19:00 – Officers were dispatched to 1836 S. Oronogo St. Apt 6A, in reference to a disturbance in progress. One female was taken into custody for assault.

22:31 – Officers initiated a traffic stop near Stadium and Colonial drives for traffic violations. One male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Friday, March 21

09:48 – I observed a vehicle northbound on Madison Street not use a turn signal when turning onto 16th street, and a traffic stop was made. A 43-year-old female was arrested for DWI.

Saturday, March 22

01:27 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Daugherty and Walker streets for moving violations. One 25-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI, open container, resisting, and a Stone County warrant.

01:40 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on Madison Street near Seventh Street. One male was arrested on Jasper County warrants and drug related charges.

19:27 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at South Hall Street and Eden Avenue for defective equipment. A 24-year-old female was taken to jail for a warrant.
