Thursday, Sept. 25

08:00 – I received a phone call from a investigator with the Division of Family Services stating she had been assigned a past-tense case involving the welfare of a child. The alleged incident was supposed to have been happening in the 1300 block of W. 16th St. in Webb City.

Friday, Oct. 17

10:58 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of North Main Street and Carl Junction Road for a moving violation. One male was taken into custody for an outstanding Joplin warrant.

18:21 – I took a walk-in report about a female harboring a runaway juvenile downtown on Main Street.

Sunday, Oct. 19

10:16 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near 10th and Madison streets in reference to a moving traffic violation. One 40-year-old male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

13:37 – I was dispatched to 213 W. Austin St. for past-tense property damage.

20:36 – Officers were dispatched to 305 N. Liberty St. for a report of property damage. The window had been broken out of a vehicle.

20:47 – Officers conducted a pedestrian stop at Third and Pennsylvania streets. A female was taken into custody for Joplin warrants.

Monday, Oct. 20

01:44 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Washington and Third streets for a traffic infraction. A 43-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked.

15:39 – I received a call at Vapor Maven, 1715-C S. Madison St., in reference to theft. A male was identified and subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

15:55 – I stopped a vehicle at Madison Street and Cardinal Drive for an investigative stop of theft. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while revoked.

18:56 – I was dispatched to 1013 Crow St. regarding an animal complaint. Citations have been issued for vicious animal and animal at large.

19:45 – Officers were dispatched to 804 N. Madison St. for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle.

Tuesday, Oct. 21

11:53 – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Heather Lane reference a medical call. A 51-year-old male was located deceased.

12:08 – I received a call for service at 801 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a stolen scooter.

22:58 – Officers were dispatched to 503 N. Colonial Drive regarding a domestic incident in progress.

Wednesday, Oct. 22

09:48 – An officer conducted a stop near Seventh and Oronogo streets for a female riding a bicycle. She was taken into custody for an outstanding probation and parole warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

20:53 – Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Main St. for a check well-being. A male was taken into custody for DWI and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Thursday, Oct. 23

10:41 – I was dispatched to Wal-Mart for a past-tense theft.

10:45 – An officer was dispatched to Crow and Rose streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

21:01 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Mt. Hope Road and Range Line Road for a fictitious plate. A 43-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

22:19 – Officers were dispatched to 2587 N. Range Line Road in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. The 54-year-old female driver was arrested for DWI – combo drug/alcohol, prior offender, no valid operator’s license, and possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, Oct. 24

08:21 – An officer was dispatched to 1060 N. Madison St. in reference to theft.

13:44 – I was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., for a report of past-tense theft.

Saturday, Oct. 25

08:38 – I received a call for service at 1109 W. Broadway in reference to property damage to a vehicle. The victim reported that his parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle around midnight and that vehicle left the scene.
