Saturday, Aug. 6

17:00 – Officers took a walk-in report at WCPD for a property damage that was reported to have occurred at 317 N. Tom St.

Monday, Aug. 15

14:24 – Officers were dispatched to Prairie Flower and Fountain roads for a motor vehicle accident. A report has been completed.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

10:13 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a motor vehicle crash.

Friday, Aug. 19

13:07 – Officers were dispatched to 306 N. Main St. in reference to a disturbance. One adult female was taken into custody and a report was created.

11:15 – Officers were dispatched to 1229 W. Austin St. for property damage.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

14:56 – Officers were dispatched to Oronogo and Daugherty streets for a motor vehicle crash.

Saturday, Aug. 27

20:18 – Officers responded to the 900 block of Megan Lane for a suicidal subject. One subject was transported to the hospital without incident.

10:24 – I was dispatched to Madison Square, 1715 S. Madison St., for a past-tense harassment.

16:42 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacAruthur Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.

15:26 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. Two males were later taken into custody.

23:03 – WCPD’s drug recognition expert officer was dispatched to Range Line and Newman Road to conduct n evaluation for a Newton County deputy. Information was obtained and a report was forwarded to the Newton County Sheriff Department.

Sunday, Aug. 28

On 08/28/2022 at 1751 hours, Officers were dispatched to the area of the 600 block of S Hall, reference juvenile issues. As a result a report was taken.

On 08/28/2022 at 1717 hours an officer was dispatch to 1212 S Madison in reference to a check well being. As result one adult female was taken into custody.

On 08/28/2022 at 0058 hours the Webb City Police Departments Drug Recognition Expert Officer was dispatched to 8th and Main in Joplin to conduct a DRE Evaluation for a Newton Co. Deputy.

Monday, Aug. 29

08:20 – I took a report of a found bicycle 701 N. Liberty St. The bike was placed into evidence until an owner can be located.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

07:41 – I stopped a vehicle at Madison and Aylor streets for a traffic violation. A male was subsequently arrested for driving while revoked.

08:30 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a found wallet. The reporting person found a wallet in the 1400 block of Cheryl Lane. during an estate sale on Aug. 15. Attempts were made to contact the owner.

11:45 – I took a report of a runaway female juvenile from the 500 block of S. Main St. She was last seen on at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 29 at that location by her guardian.

14:31 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A female was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended.

18:39 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft that had just occurred. Evidence was gathered and a search for the suspect was started.

19:59 – I was dispatched to the 1400 block of W. 14th St. in reference a runaway juvenile.

20:41 – I was dispatched to 812 Wilson St. in reference to a past-tense domestic assault. One adult male was charged with domestic assault.

21:30 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to an in-progress theft. A 44-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting, as well as some outstanding warrants for his arrest.

21:45 – I was dispatched to Fountain Road and Gold Stream Drive for a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. The occupants of the suspect vehicle fled on foot and were not located. It was learned the suspect vehicle had been reported stolen out of Joplin.

18:45 – I was northbound on Madison Street approaching Fountain Road when I saw a vehicle driving recklessly by crossing four lanes of travel without using his turn signal and nearly striking another vehicle before he drove quickly through two busy parking lots to avoid a red stop light. I stopped the vehicle and arrested the 20-year old male driver from Joplin for driving while suspended and possession of marijuana. I also issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving as well as warnings for other violations. The driver was held in the Webb City Jail until he posted bond.

15:30 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. Three subjects were identified and one female issued a summons.

15:15 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense theft.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

03:14 – An officer was dispatched to Don’s Cold Storage, 2316 S. Hall St., in reference to a past-tense vehicle theft. The victim reported his green and black 2022 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle as stolen.

08:43 – I was dispatched to 503 1/2 S. Ball St. for a past-tense theft.

10:05 – Officers were dispatched to Fountain Road and Lakeview Drive, reference a two-vehicle injury accident. A female was transported non-emergency.

08:05 – I conducted a traffic stop on Daugherty Street at Pennsylvania Street. The female driver was cited for driving while revoked.

17:03 – I took custody of an item found at 1104 W. Daugherty St.

Thursday, Sept. 1

02:15 – Officers contacted a 25-year-old male at Second and Tom Street in reference to a possible shoplifting.

01:56 – Officers responding to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., for a shoplifting.

01:58 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S Main St., for a theft of property. While searching the area a pedestrian check was conducted on two individuals. As a result of the stop, a 27-year-old male was arrested.

07:25 – Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Austin St. reference a stolen vehicle.

07:52 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street at MacArthur Drive, in reference to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

12:17 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for a past-tense theft.

15:29 – Officers observed a female with a possible felony warrant traveling northbound on Madison Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

19:00 – Officers responded to 3rd and Ball for a disturbance. Information was obtained and a report was taken.

20:29 – Officers were called to the 1800 block of S. Madison St. in reference to a runaway juvenile. A stolen vehicle was recovered and a 15-year-old female runaway and a 17-year-old male runaway were located.

An officer was dispatched to 210 S. Ball St. in reference to a theft. Information was gathered and charges for stealing will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 25-year-old male.

18:17 – An officer was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. Apt 204 in reference to a burglary.

Saturday, Sept. 3

00:47 – I received a call for service at 1208 Gold Pan Drive in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

09:45 – I received a call for service at 1106 Woodland Drive in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

20:40 – Officers were dispatched to 126 N. Liberty St. in reference a check well being. One adult male was transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
