Thursday, April 16
19:58 – An officer on routine patrol observed a male subject standing on the front porch of 109 S. Pennsylvania St. The officer knew the subject had active felony warrants for his arrest so contact was made. A 20-year-old male was taken into custody for a felony warrant and multiple misdemeanor warrants.
Friday, April 17
20:02 – Officers were dispatched to 824 N. East St in reference to a physical domestic. One male was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Saturday, April 18
20:13 – An officer was dispatched to Cardinal Drive and Madison Street in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Sunday, April 19
02:26 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 475 S. Madison St. A 29-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-alcohol.
00:41 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Second and Tom streets, where a 41-year-old male was taken into custody for driving without a valid license.
01:15 – I made a traffic stop near Tom and Daugherty streets in reference an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
07:42 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Fountain Road in reference to a moving traffic violation. One 37-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked.
09:47 – My attempt to conduct a traffic stop on a black sports car at Hall Street and Fountain Road turned into a vehicle pursuit. After losing sight of the vehicle, the pursuit was terminated.
15:43 – I was dispatched to a civil parties separated at 710 N. Elliott St. Threats were reported.
17:46 – An officer was dispatched to Jefferson Street and Broadway in reference to two children roaming the area without an adult. The children were returned home and the Department of Family Services.
22:57 – Officers were dispatched to 1015 Mineral St in reference to a past-tense assault, As result on adult male was taken into custody and a report was created.
Monday, April 20
00:14 – A report was taken for statutory rape of a minor that occurred in the 1000 block of Mineral St.
08:11 – I was notified of a juvenile from the 500 block of S. Ball St. who never made it to school. The juvenile was later located.
08:41 – Officers were dispatched to 519 S. Roane St. for an animal complaint. A 65-year-old male was cited for vicious animal and a report was taken.
09:39 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a theft that occurred at 217 W. Austin St. A 35-year-old was taken into custody for stealing.
10:30 – Officers were dispatched to Wasche Laundromat, 615 N. East St. B, in reference to theft.
12:21 – I arrived at 1604 S. Ellis for reported damage to a vehicle. The victim advised a neighbor kicked her car several times causing damage to her driver’s side door. A 28-year-old man was arrested for property destruction.
18:44 – An officer was dispatched to 604 S Madison St. for a disturbance in progress. One female was taken into custody for resisting arrest.
19:37 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Eighth streets for defective equipment. The 24-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for defective equipment, operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid license or no license, and driving while intoxicated.
23:13 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise Avenue and Red Iron Drive for a speeding violation. The 37-year-old female driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit and operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid or no driver’s license.
23:46 – Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Madison St. regarding a female who had been shot with a firearm. A 56-year-old female was taken into custody for assault 1st degree – serious physical injury.
Wednesday, April 22
10:53 – I was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. Fifth St., for a child that has been found wandering the area. The child was later reunited with their parent.
15:30 – I was dispatched to Main Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash, that occurred at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street.
17:57 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to an assault that occurred at Daugherty and Ball streets. One adult male was issued a citation.
Thursday, April 23
11:53 – Officers were dispatched to 1005 E. Cottonwood St. for a reported crash.
15:32 – I conducted a traffic stop at Hall Street and Fountain Road, where a male was cited for driving without a license and speeding. He was taken to the jail, where he was finger printed and released.
19:04 – Officers responded to the 700 block of W. Daugherty St. for a medical call.
Friday, April 24
07:31 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended.
13:15 – On 04/24/2026 at 1315 hours, I was contacted the police department, 211 W Broadway in reference to fraud/forgery at 200 W Daugherty. A report was taken.
19:43 – An officer was conducting patrol when he observed a green Ford van with expired registration in the area of Hall and Aylor St. As a traffic stop was conducted, one male was taken into custody for driving while revoked. Charges were submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor.
Saturday, April 25
14:32 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13th and Madison streets for a non-injury crash.
