Tuesday, April 21

07:53 – I was dispatched to Hall Street and Rail Road Way for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. A report was taken.

Thursday, April 23

19:32 – An officer was dispatched to 708 W. Fourth St. in reference to a private-property crash.

Friday, April 24

12:17 – I was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Madison St. for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

15:12 – Officers were dispatched to 1006 S. Ball Court in reference to a suspicious person. A 50-year-old male was arrested for warrants.

16:34 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Broadway for a disturbance. A report for domestic assault was taken.

Saturday, April 25

00:35 – An officer assisted another agency with a runaway juvenile in the 800 block of W. Broadway St. One female was taken into custody for Webb City warrants.

21:17 – Officers were dispatched to 1503 W. MacArthur Drive for a report of a non-injury motor vehicle crash.

23:27 – A female came turned herself in at WCPD for five Jasper County warrants. She was taken into custody after it was confirmed the warrants were still active.

Sunday, April 26

02:42 – I made a traffic stop near Tracy and Hall streets in reference to a license violation. One adult male and one adult female were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

12:57 – Officers were dispatched to Mt. Hope Cemetery in reference to a theft of lawn mowers. A 25-year-old male was arrested for stealing.

15:59 – Officers were dispatched to 1802-7F S. Oronogo St. for a trespass in progress. A 24-year-old male was taken into custody for trespassing, resisting arrest, failure to obey a lawful order, and failure to register as a sex offender

Monday, April 27

09:56 – Jasper County 911 recieved a call advising of a possible disturbance occurring near the intersection of S. Hall St. and Enterprise Avenue. Officers located a victim at Don’s Cold Storage, 2320 S Hall St. Charges for unlawfull use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and assualt in the fourth degree against a 61-year-old male suspect will be forwarded to the Japser County Prosecutor’s Office.

11:01 – I boxed and sealed prescription drugs for disposal. They were turned at the WCPD.

15:00 – I arrived in the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. with the state Children’s Division to investigate a report of child abuse.

16:49 – I was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., for the report of a past-tense theft.

Tuesday, April 28

09:24 – I was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. for a past-tense burglary.

20:17 – An officer was given a debit card that had been found in the parking lot at 1224 S. Madison St.

23:55 – An officer made contact with an individual at 501 S. Pennsylvania St. for being in King Jack Park after hours. The 36-year-old male was arrested on a felony Newton County Warrant.

Wednesday, April 29

12:30 – Officers were dispatched to 4551 E. Zora St. for littering.

17:21 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Madison Street. A 35-year-old female was arrested for driving while revoked.

18:40 – Officers were dispatched to 4563 E. Zora St for a report of an harassment. A citation was issued.

18:54 – Officers were dispatched to 1608 Jefferson Circle in reference to a domestic in progress. A 48-year-old male was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Thursday, April 30

07:46 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Aylor streets. A 22-year-old female was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

07:56 – I received a call for service at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

13:23 – The victim reported at WCPD that her purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Walmart on April 24.

14:05 – Officers were dispatched to 1608 W. Broadway for a past-tense theft.

16:48 – Officers were dispatched to 923 W. Fourth St. for a past-tense theft.

20:06 – Officers responded to 1604 S. Ellis St. regarding a possible intoxicated subject on a moped. A 51-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting arrest and failure to comply with a request for information by law enforcement officers. He was also placed on a 12-hour safe-keep due to a high level of visible intoxication.

20:24 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a motor vehicle crash.

Friday, May 1

I was made aware of a past-tense case of child endangerment and or child neglect that occurred in the 1300 block of Crestwood Drive.

20:19 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Church streets for an equipment violation. The 48-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for defective equipment and operating a motor vehicle on the highway with no valid driver’s license.

21:37 – On 05-01-2026 at approximately 2137 hours an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and traffic violations at Hall and Enterprise. As a result a 63-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

Saturday, May 2

00:59 – On 05-02-2026 at approximately 0059 hours a black Toyota Tacoma was observed committing multiple traffic violations at East and Daugherty and a traffic stop was conducted. As a result a 30-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

12:01 – I was dispatched to Madison and Fourth streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.

16:48 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in response to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

19:16 – Officers responded to 104 S. Main St. for a disturbance in progress.

21:12 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Daugherty and Devon streets for expired license plates. The 36-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
