Tuesday, July 14

14:43 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a 56-year-old man to be arrested on a Webb City warrant for harassment.

Sunday, July 19

06:33 – Officers were dispatched to 704 N. Hall St. in reference to stolen motor vehicle.

10:30 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a report of stealing. The victim reported her 49cc scooter was taken from their yard on 07-18-2026 at about 23:00 hours. At 15:21 hours, I stopped the suspected stolen scooter. The driver fled the area on foot and was not located. The scooter was returned to the owner.

13:47 – I received a call for service at 1400 S. Madison St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

18:08 – Officers responded to 1165 County Side Drive regarding a disturbance involving several individuals who live there. A 36-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants with Webb City and Neosho police departments. A 38-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting arrest, failure to identify, and an active warrant with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

21:56 – An officer was dispatched to 1836 S. Oronogo St. Apt 8D in reference to a threats call. A 24-year-old female was issued a citation for peace disturbance.

Monday, July 20

02:11 – I was dispatched to 4491-C E. Zora St. in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

15:50 – An officer attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of Range Line Road and Ten Pin Lane. The vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated. One white male was taken into custody for resisting, driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

23:16 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2587 N. Range Line Rd. A 20-year-old male was taken into custody for driving without a valid license.

Tuesday, July 21

21:32 – An officer was dispatched to 215 S. East St. in reference to a leaving-the-scene crash.

Wednesday, July 22

07:50 – Officers were dispatched to a crash at the roundabout.

13:23 – I was contacted at the station in reference to the report of domestic assault and child abuse at 1111 W. 14th St.

13:39 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to stealing at 729 W. Daugherty St.

16:20 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Stop, 306 N. Main St., in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

16:39 – I received a call for service in the 600 block of S. Hall St. in reference to a runaway juvenile. On my arrival, the juvenile returned, and a report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

17:08 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to an unsecure load.

22:10 – An officer observed two Mustangs racing north on Range Line Road toward Zora Street. The officer attempted a traffic stop on the vehicles, however, neither vehicle pulled over and continued to accelerate and weave in and out of traffic. One of the Mustangs was seen pulling into the parking lot of Walmart, where officers conducted a felony stop on the vehicle. As a result, a 20-year-old male was taken into custody. Charges for Valentine’s Law, careless and imprudent driving, and exceeding the speed limit by 26 mph or more will be forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecuting Office.

Thursday, July 23

15:34 – I received a call for service at RNR Custom Wheel and Tires, 2301 N. Range Line Road, in reference to property damage to a motor vehicle.

20:28 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a vehicle crash.

Friday, July 24

00:19 – An officer observed a vehicle pull behind the Dollar General at 1510 S. Madison St. and park next to the dumpster. A 52-year-old female was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

05:42 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report in reference to threats that occurred at 1530 S. Oronogo St. on July 23. Charges for tampering with a victim in prosecution of a felony will be submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.

11:36 – I was dispatched to 714 S. Madison St. for a report of a motor vehicle accident.

18:40 – I was dispatched to 518 N. Webb St. for an assault that had just occurred. The suspect was taken into custody.

Saturday, July 25

00:34 – An officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Austin St. in reference to a reported runaway.

01:26 – An officer stopped a vehicle for a lane violation at MacArthur Drive and Main Street. A 22-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

20:46 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Daugherty streets for an equipment violation. The 23-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while suspended.
