09:34 – Officers were dispatched to 403 N. Washington St. in reference to an assault.
16:02 – I was dispatched to two abandoned houses in the 1300 block of Nelson St. to look for a stolen motorcycle. Portions of the motorcycle were located at 1316 Nelson St. and returned to the owner.
Saturday, Aug. 1
10:32 – I was dispatched to Seventh Street at the Frisco Greenway Trail for an item of value found along the trail.
11:35 – I stopped the operator of a motorized scooter at Jefferson and 13th streets for failing to stop at a stop sign. The operator was arrested for driving while revoked.
13:39 – I recognized a pedestrian near Main and Galena streets as having warrants. The 43-year-old man was contacted and arrested on two active Webb City warrants.
Sunday, Aug. 2
15:33 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to an animal left in a hot vehicle. As a result, a 64-year-old male was issued a citation for animal cruelty.
15:56 – Officers were dispatched to Pool Road and Center Lane in the Country Acres Mobile Home Community in reference to intoxicated subjects. Several citations were issued.
21:14 – Officers responded to 96 N. Colonial Avenue for a trespassing in progress. One male was taken into custody for Webb City warrants.
Monday, Aug. 3
12:30 – An officer responded to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries.
13:19 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart reference a shoplifting in progress.
14:35 – I arrived in the 200 block of S. Hall St. reference a check well-being of a juvenile. During the call for service, I located a motorcycle with a license plate that returned as stolen out of Pittsburg, Kan.
15:59 – Officers were dispatched to 222 S. Hall St. reference a check well-being.
16:09 – I was dispatched to 530 E. Vine St. for an accident in which a vehicle hit a subject on a bicycle then left the scene.
22:02 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line and Ten Pin Lane for speeding. A 47-year-old male was arrested for being a fugitive from out of state.
22:37 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Hall and Zora streets. The 18-year-old female driver was cited for expired registration and arrested on three Joplin warrants.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
08:46 – I was dispatched to Cintas Uniform Servics, 3517 W. Red Iron Drive, for a report of a past-tense theft from vehicle.
13:52 – An officer was dispatched to 809 S. Walker St. in reference to a past-tense property damage that occurred sometime during the overnight hours of Aug. 3.
Wednesday, Aug. 5
01:29 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Elliott and Galena streets. The 18-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-drug, minor in possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
06:57 – On 08-05-2026 at 0657 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of N. East Street for a single vehicle, minor-injury, traffic crash.
07:17 – Officers were dispatched to Cintas Uniform Servics, 3517 W. Red Iron Drive, in reference to a theft.
08:37 – An officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision.
09:30 – I arrived at Overhead Door, 3558 Red Iron Drive, in reference a theft report. A catalytic converter had been stolen from a vehicle sometime overnight, between 17:30 and 06:30.
11:28 – Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s, 410 S. Madison St., in reference to an assault. An 18-year-old male was arrested for assault.
15:53 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Jefferson St. for a check well-being. Two adults, one male and one female were arrested.
16:59 – A report was taken for a theft that occurred at City Hall, 200 S. Main St.
Thursday, Aug. 6
23:08 – An officer on patrol observed a silver Mazda truck with moving violations in the area of Tom and Austin streets. A traffic stop was conducted at Daugherty and Tom streets during which one male was arrested on felony warrants.
Friday, Aug. 7
12:47 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle near Tracy and Devon streets for a traffic violation. The 32-year-old male was arrested for outstanding Joplin warrant.
20:08 – Officers were dispatched to 522 S. Madison St. for a warrant service. A 29-year-old female was arrested on Webb City warrants.
21:08 – Officers were dispatched to 530-F N. East St. in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. An officer made a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle near Daugherty and East streets. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, Aug. 8
08:30 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., in reference to an intoxicated male. A 19-year-old male was arrested for minor visibly intoxicated. He was also placed on a 12-hour safekeep.
12:35 – An officer was dispatched to 405 N. Webb St. in reference to suspicious activity that took place on the night of Aug. 7. A 37-year-old female was taken into custody for two outstanding warrants.
