Friday, Sept. 11

13:11 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of shoplifting. The loss prevention employees identified a woman who had stolen from the store on multiple occasions.

Sunday, Sept. 13

01:08 – A traffic stop was made for lane violations at East Street and Jillian Lane. The 60-year-old female was arrested for DWI.

07:18 – I received a call for service in reference to three to four men standing in the roadway, yelling and screaming as they blocked traffic on Centennial Street near Ware Street. Upon contact, it was found that one of the men was intoxicated, and the others were trying to assist him.

11:18 – Officers were notified by Walmart staffof a shoplifting in progress. A 36-year-old male was cited and released.

14:55 – An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Pennsylvania St. for past-tense assault. A 39-year-old male was located a few blocks away and arrested.

19:58 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report for a past-tense harassment that occurred at 1402 S. Washington St.

Monday, Sept. 14

08:02 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Seventh and Oronogo streets for a traffic violation. The 40-year-old male driver was arrested for driving with no license and two Jasper County warrants.

14:29 – I was dispatched to Broadway and College Street for a motor vehicle crash with no reported injuries.

23:39 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at East and Daugherty streets for driving with no headlights when required. A 46-year-old female was arrested for DWI.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

09:20 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries.

13:51 – An officer stopped a bicycle near Country Side and Stadium drives in reference to moving violations. The 46-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding Benton County Arkansas warrant.

14:34 – I was dispatched to 4511 Dirt Rd. for a report of a fraud.

17:26 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense trespass/shoplifting. Charges for trespassing and shoplifting will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 34-year-old male.

17:46 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Zora Street in reference to an expired license plate. The 28-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while suspended.

18:57 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1510 S. Madison St. A 30-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended

21:52 – An officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of 1310 S. Madison St. A 45-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI-habitual, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, armed criminal action, and possession of a controlled substance. A 45-year-old male was taken into custody for failure to ID and outstanding Webb City warrants.

23:00 – An officer contacted a male at Fourth and Pennsylvania streets for driving without a license. A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving without a license.

23:31 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and MacArthur Drive for defective equipment. A 58-year-old was arrested on Joplin warrants.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

09:26 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a child custody incident at 328 S. Hall St.

14:15 – On 09/16/2026 at approximately 1415 hours, an officer took a walk in report at 211 W Broadway St in reference to 4418 Dirt Rd Dr due to fraud. As a result, a report was taken.

16:52 – I arrived at Walmart for a theft report. The caller reported a woman stole a food and drink item while inside the store. That woman then accidentally left her phone on a counter before leaving.

20:12 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt 4B in reference to a domestic in progress. A 34-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic assault.

20:37 – Officers responded to the intersection of Madison Street and MacArthur Drive regarding a non-injury two-vehicle accident.

Thursday, Sept. 17

18:30 – An officer was on patrol when he observed a black Chevy SUV with license plate violations in the area of Mt. Hope Road and Madison St. As a traffic stop was conducted, one female was cited for driving while suspended.

20:23 – Officers responded to 726 S Walker St. for a suspicious person.

23:02 – Officers responded to 4563 E. Zora St. Apt. E regarding a disturbance in progress. A 23-year-old male was taken into custody for peace disturbance.

23:51 – Officers were conducting a follow-up investigation at 4563 E. Zora St. One male was taken into custody for violation of an adult protection order, and charges were submitted to the state prosecuting attorney.

Friday, Sept. 18

22:12 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Oronogo Street on a white sedan. A a female, age 46, was arrested for DWI-drugs.

Saturday, Sept. 19

00:00 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street for lane violation. The 22-year-old female passenger was issued a citation for possession of an open container of alcohol, and the 20-year-old female driver was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol, minor in possession of alcohol, and driving while intoxicated.

09:32 – An officer was dispatched to 1306 Gold Dust in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries.

17:20 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a counterfeit bill. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.
