17:18 – Officers were dispatched to a past-tense assault at 711 S Walker St Apt. A. A report has been completed.
Wednesday, Oct. 26
19:10 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. A 32-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.
Friday, Oct. 28
15:04 – Officers were dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. for a disturbance. A 63-year-old resident was arrested for peace disturbance.
Saturday, Oct. 29
17:48 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting.
Sunday, Oct. 30
08:21 – Officers were dispatched to 1700 Redwood for a disturbance. The caller reported her intoxicated boyfriend was pounding on the door trying to get in the apartment. I located the 19-year-old boyfriend and arrested him for resisting arrest. While at the jail, the man called 911 and claimed he had been kidnapped. He was further charged with resisting arrest and misuse of the 911 system.
Monday, Oct. 31
11:00 – I was dispatched to Webb City High School in reference to possession of narcotics. Evidence was seized and the Jasper County Juvenile Office was contacted.
14:05 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of S. Madison St., reference a three-vehicle non-injury accident.
20:06 – Officers were dispatched to 619 N. Tom St. for a suspicious person. A 37-year-old male was arrested for peace disturbance.
12:30 – Officers were dispatched to Broadway and Jefferson Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
Tuesday, Nov. 1
17:50 – An officer received a phone call in reference to a juvenile who had run away from his residence in the 400 block of W. Broadway.
18:30 – An officer was dispatched to 1414 W. Central St. for theft of property.
Wednesday, Nov. 2
16:38 – I located an abandoned bicycle in an alley at 200 W. Broadway. No owner was found, and the bicycle was transported to the police department pending identification of its owner.
12:27 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Aylor St. to assist Missouri State Children’s Division in an emergency investigation.
10:00 – I took a report of property damage in the 600 block of W. Aylor St. Two male juveniles were charged with property damage.
Thursday, Nov. 3
01:16 – I made contact with a vehicle near Second and Madison streets in reference suspicious activity. One adult male was taken into custody for a felony warrant.
07:32 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The female driver was arrested for a traffic warrant.
14:35 – I received a call for service at the roundabout for a motor vehicle accident.
15:20 – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Daughtery St. for a past-tense disturbance and a runaway juvenile.
16:46 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft of money at Walmart.
Friday, Nov. 4
10:57 – Officers were dispatched to an abandoned house at 224 S. Ball St., reference a male subject that had just entered the home through a boarded window. He was arrested.
21:03 – An officer was dispatched to 1618 Crestwood Drive reference found property. Items were collected and placed in evidence for safe keeping.
23:17 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Stadium Drive in reference to a traffic violation. An 18-year-old female passenger was issued a citation for being a minor visibly intoxicated. Two 17-year-old female passengers will have charges sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office for minor visibly intoxicated. The 16-year-old female driver will have charges sent to the juvenile office for minor visibly intoxicated and was also issued a DWI-Zero Tolerance.
Saturday, Nov. 5
08:06 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Church streets and took one adult female into custody.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
