00:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Ellis St. in reference to a possible suicidal subject at the location. A 39-year-old female was placed on a 96-hour hold.
Tuesday, Nov. 1
15:51 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense hit and run.
Wednesday, Nov. 2
13:21 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Main and Second streets between and SUV and a mail truck.
16:47 – Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W. Second St., reference a past-tense theft.
Thursday, Nov. 3
16:56 – I was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Walker St. for an assault. The mother of a 10-year-old juvenile reported he was shot by a BB gun from the neighbors.
15:03 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Main Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
11:29 – Dispatch received a walk-in from a woman who wanted to report a theft from 624 W. Wood St. She reported someone had stolen her bronze Schwinn multi-speed bicycle.
Saturday, Nov. 5
19:42 – Officers were dispatched to 904 N. East St. in reference to a disturbance. A 25-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
Sunday, Nov. 6
01:33 – I was southbound on Madison Street at Macarthur Drive when I observed a black in color Chevy passenger vehicle comitting multiple traffic violations. A 41-year-old female was arrested for DWI.
18:46 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense shoplifting.
20:09 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.
17:40 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. The suspect vehicle was stopped. Three juveniles were in the vehicle. Parents arrived to take custody of the juveniles. A report will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
Monday, Nov. 7
03:39 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Roane St. for a medical call where a 60-year-old female was unresponsive. She was later pronounced deceased.
06:12 – I was dispatched to 709 Levi Lane for a theft. The victim reported his 2002 gray Buick Century was stolen sometime after midnight.
15:11 – I was westbound on Galena Street from Main Street behind a red in color moped commiting multiple traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted and a 37-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked.
16:02 – Officers were dispatched to 525 S. Hall St. for a possible burglary. A 25-year-old man was arrested on multiple Duquesne and Webb City warrants.
15:07 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo and 10th streets in reference to a traffic violation. The 41-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while revoked.
10:19 – I was dispatched to The Rental Store (1709 W. Macarthur Drive) in reference to property damage.
Tuesday, Nov. 8
19:00 – A report was taken for a past-tense protection order violation that occurred at 711 S. Walker St. Apt. A.
19:27 – An officer was dispatched to Hall and Ware streets in reference to a property damage report. The victim reported as he drove through this area someone threw a rock or something similar at his vehicle, causing scuffs and scratches in the paint.
22:38 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Cardinal Drive in reference to a suicidal person. One 21-year-old white female was taken into custody for a mental evaluation.
15:47 – I was dispatched to Daugherty and East streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.
Wednesday, Nov. 9
11:30 – I was dispatched to 1941 S. Oronogo St. for a motor vehicle accident, one vehicle involved, with one person injured.
10:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Tom St., reference property damage.
14:00 – Officers arrived at 1732 Redwood Drive reference a report of a female subject flailing a firearm around at people in the apartment complex. This was the second report officers had responded to for a similar issue. The subject was located, disarmed, and charged with unlawful use of a firearm.
14:45 – I was dispatched to 1744 Redwood No. 132 for a past-tense theft.
12:44 – I was contacted at WCPD about a past-tense harassment. The incident occurred at 1400 W. Austin St.
17:33 – An officer was dispatched to 511 S. Madison St. for an unknown injury crash.
12:28 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Webb St., reference a domestic disturbance. A male subject was cited.
Thursday, Nov. 10
05:34 – Officers responded to 1229 W. Austin St. for a two-vehicle non-injury crash.
12:00 – I was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a vehicle pursuit. I observed a crash at the location. Other officers were able to apprehend the suspects.
Friday, Nov. 11
19:10 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference a trespass in progress. Two adults were charged with trespassing.
21:02 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft that had just occurred.
17:14 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Webb St. for a check well being of an adult male. The male was located inside his residence deceased. A death investigation was initiated.
Saturday, Nov. 12
01:55 – Officers were alerted to a suicidal subject who was possibly armed with a pistol, possibly intoxicated, and driving around the city in his vehicle. The vehicle was ultimately located near Fountain Road and College Street where it began to lead officers on a high-speed pursuit. The 26-year-old male driver was soon captured at his residence in Carl Junction and arrested for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, careless driving, and driving while suspended.
19:05 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting report. I obtained information from asset protection.
20:32 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft that had just occurred. The suspect fled on foot from asset protection and was soon located at a nearby business. The 19-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting.
21:36 – I was contacted in reference a past-tense property damage and domestic assault that occurred at 1707 Redwood Drive Apt. 24. One adult male was charged with domestic assault and property damage.
22:32 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to two adult shoplifters that were detained in the business. The 19-year-old female and 20-year-old male were cited for shoplifting and released from the scene.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
