16:54 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and Fountain Road for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
Friday, Nov. 25
21:57 – Officers were dispatched to 1848 S. Oronogo St. Apt 5A, in reference to a assault in progress call.
23:21 – An officer was dispatched to the station for a walk-in report in reference to an assault that occurred at Skateland, 104 N. Madison St.
Saturday, Nov. 26
12:13 – Officers were dispatched to 29 S. Ball St. for a report of theft from a motor vehicle.
12:40 – Officers were dispatched to 1125 Woodland Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle.
Sunday, Nov. 27
21:03 – I was dispatched to Hall and Ware streets in reference suspicious activity. An abandoned 4-wheeler was located and seized for safekeeping.
23:19 – I was dispatched to 1104-2 W. Broadway in reference to a stolen motor scooter. A report was taken and the vehicle was entered into MULES as stolen.
I was dispatched to the WCPD in reference to an ex-parte violation at 719 N. Campbell St.
Monday, Nov. 28
20:50 – An officer was dispatched to 304 N. Madison St. in reference to harassment. Charges for harassment will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 53-year-old male.
Tuesday, Nov. 29
07:31 – Officers were dispatched to 32 S. Liberty St., reference a past-tense theft.
14:10 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. reference a juvenile male in possession of a vape pen containing THC. The juvenile was charged with possession and a report sent to the juvenile office.
22:11 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. The 41-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.
Wednesday, Nov. 30
13:32 – Officers were dispatched to 701 W. Second St. in reference to a disturbance. A 42-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
14:39 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo and Seventh streets for a registration violation. The 30-year-old male driver was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.
15:33 – I received a call for service at 1338 April Crossing in reference to property damage that had occurred at Walmart.
17:38 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Second streets for a speeding violation. The 29-year-old female driver was arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit and driving while suspended.
19:57 – An officer was dispatched to 1156 Heather Lane in reference to a past-tense harassment complaint.
22:12 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft that had just occurred. I collected evidence and began attempting to identify the suspect.
Thursday, Dec. 1
19:31 – I was dispatched to the 300 block of S. Pennsylvania St. in reference a runaway juvenile.
I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison in reference to a trespassing in progress. Upon arrival several suspects fled but were located trespassing in a structure belonging to another victim. All suspects were detained and charges were requested from the Jasper County Juvenile Office for the offences of trespassing, resisting arrest/detention, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and runaway.
Friday, Dec. 2
9:48 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Main Street for a motor vehicle accident. The two-vehicle, non-injury accident had occurred at the roundabout.
16:37 – Officers were dispatched to 1212 S Madison (Walmart), for an in progress shoplifting. As a result a male subject was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting.
20:46 – Officers responded to McDonald’s for threats to do harm.
21:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a possible trespass in progress. A 34-year-old male was arrested for two outstanding warrants.
Saturday, Dec. 3
02:47 – While on general patrol, an officer witnessed a gray in color vehicle go over the center of the roundabout and begin to drive into incoming lanes. The 87-year-old male driver, who had been listed as missing, was located.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
