13:50 – I was contacted at WCPD for a possible harassment.

Thursday, Dec. 29

08:56 – Officers responded to WCPD for a report of a lost or stolen wallet from Walmart.

17:50 – I was dispatched to the area of Zora and Myrtle streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

Sunday, Jan. 1

00:55 – An officer was dispatched to Wilson Circle and Heather Lane for a property damage report.

01:49 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for an unknown trouble. Information was obtained and a 35-year-old male was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle 1st degree, robbery 2nd degree, and assault 3rd degree.

04:02 – Officers responded to King Jack Park, 555 S. Main St. in reference to an intentional overdose.

04:13 – Officers were notified of an abandoned vehicle at Hall and Zora streets. It was determined the vehicle had been stolen and left abandoned. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.

13:08 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Prospect St. reference an assault in progress. A report was forwarded to Childrens Division.

14:03 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Washington St. reference a past-tense theft.

14:05 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of N. Ball St., reference a domestic assault.

14:26 – I was dispatched to 1201 S. Madison St. for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.

14:57 – Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of W. Briar Drive reference suspicious activity and found property.

15:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of N. Ball St., reference a past-tense theft of firearm.

18:54 – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Webb St. in reference to a disturbance. A 22-year-old male was taken to the hospital on a 96-hour commit.

22:47 – Officers responded to the 1700 block of Redwood Drive for an attempted overdose. A 25-year-old female was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital for an evaluation.

Monday, Jan. 2

06:00 – I received a call for service in the 300 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a well-being check on a female juvenile.

08:56 – Officers made a traffic stop near Hall Street and Fountain Road. One male was arrested for expired driver’s license. He was booked and released with a summons.

13:20 – I received a call for service at 731 W. Second St. reference property damage.

22:00 – An officer was dispatched to 1810 Line Drive in reference to a past-tense stolen vehicle report. The victim reported their black 2017 Kia Sportage as stolen.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

00:14 – An officer was dispatched to 319 N. Liberty St. in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

11:30 – I received a call for service at the Ol’ Glory car wash located at 4573 N. Range Line in reference to the automatic wash equipment malfunctioning and damaging a vehicle.

21:22 – I was dispatched to a single-vehicle accident near Madison Street and Stadium Drive. One adult female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

18:37 – An officer was dispatched to 709 Jillian Lane for a department assist.

21:28 – An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a runaway.

21:58 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.

Thursday, Jan. 5

I took a report of a past-tense incident(s) of an alleged theft(s). The incident was supposed to have taken place in the 1700 block of Redwood Drive.

08:24 – Officers were dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. for a past-tense domestic assault, which resulted in a male being arrested on an outstanding warrant and citation for domestic assault.

21:50 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 42-year-old female was arrested for resisting arrest, shoplifting, and several traffic violations. A 32-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting, resisting, and Joplin warrants. Charges will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 22-year-old female for shoplifting, and resisting arrest, and felony charges will be sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office on a 28-year-old male for felony stealing, felony resisting, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Friday, Jan. 6

09:40 – I was dispatched to a past-tense theft at White Oak Station, 411 S. Madison St.

Saturday, Jan. 7

00:35 – I was dispatched to 901 N. Tom St. in reference an animal complaint. Two adults were charged with animal nuisance violations.

09:08 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft from vehicle.

09:21 – I received a call for service at 1105 S. Washington St. in reference to found property.

16:45 – An officer stopped a vehicle at Hall and Garrison streets in reference to a traffic violation. It was discovered the 19-year-old female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

17:36 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to shoplifting. Two subjects, a male and a female, were subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

20:40 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for shoplifting.
