20:50 – An officer was dispatched to 715 W. Second St. in reference to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
Saturday, Jan. 7
23:45 – Officers completed a traffic stop on a vehicle at 16th and Madison streets. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, Jan. 14
17:08 – I was dispatched to Hall Street Storage, 25 S. Hall St., in reference to trespassing. A 35-year-old male was arrested for trespassing, failure to ID and warrants. A 36-year-old female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and warrants.
Sunday, Jan. 15
15:27 – The license check coming back with warrants on a silver passenger vehicle at Main Street and MacArthur Drive resulted in a traffic stop. The 43-year-old male driver was arrested on warrants and driving while revoked.
Monday, Jan. 16
03:20 – Officers were dispatched to 614 S. Oakland St. for a residential alarm. An 18-year-old male was arrested on felony warrants out of Jasper County.
12:20 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a past-tense auto theft at 731 W. 13th St. Information was distributed to other agencies in an attempt to locate.
16:05 – An officer was dispatched to 2029 Chickadee Drive in reference to a dog bite report.
17:54 – Officers were dispatched to 1604-5 Ellis St in reference to a domestic assault. One adult male was taken into custody for domestic assault.
20:21 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting.
8:19 – I was contacted at the station in reference to a report of found property. The caller advised he located a package from Sam’s Club at the city well house at First and Cedar streets.
Tuesday, Jan. 17
14:32 – I was dispatched to 1112 W. Aylor St. for property destruction. The owner of the building reported a tenant had caused severe damage to the inside of the building.
19:29 – An officer was dispatched to 1815 Avondale Avenue in reference to a past-tense theft.
20:40 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense sexual assault that occurred near Fifth Street and Colonial Drive.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
I was called to the station in reference to a found tablet, originally located at 110 N. Ash.
07:09 – Officers responded to an unknown disturbance at 1601-289 S. Ellis St.
16:35 – I conducted a traffic stop on Madison Street near 13th Street. The driver was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and failure to register a motor vehicle.
19:06 – An officer was dispatched to 1156 Heather Lane for a possible violation of adult protection order.
20:05 – Officers were dispatched to 660 E. Daugherty St. for an unknown-injury crash.
Thursday, Jan. 19
11:27 – I was contacted at the station for a past-tense disturbance at 1115 N. Pennysylvania St.
11:27 – I was contacted at the station for a past-tense domestic and property damage at 421 S. Ellis St.
16:02 – I was dispatched to 501 S. Madison St. for a past-tense theft from motor vehicle.
17:51 – An officer stopped a white Toyota passenger car in reference to a traffic violation near the intersection of Ball Street and Broadway. The 59-year-old male driver was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
Friday, Jan. 20
07:21 – An officer located a stalled vehicle on MacArthur Drive near the Frisco Greenway Trail crossing. The vehicle displayed a stolen license plate.
14:23 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.
17:40 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for property damage.
18:20 – Officers were dispatched to 1413 Missy Lane in reference to a disturbance. One adult male was taken into custody for peace disturbance.
18:29 – On 01/20/2023 at 1829 hours officers were dispatched to 1212 S Madison in reference to a past-tense shoplifting.
23:02 – An officer made a traffic stop near Seventh and Madison streets in reference to a license violation. One adult male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
Saturday, Jan. 21
00:38 – I made a traffic stop near Ball and Aylor streets in reference to a license violation. The vehicle fled the traffic stop and led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit. The suspect was ultimately taken into custody after crashing the vehicle at the roundabout and a short foot pursuit. He was arrested for driving while revoked, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident and multiple outstanding warrants.
