Thursday, March 23

06:57 – I was dispatched to 111 N. Ash St. for a theft. The victim reported the theft of numerous Milwaukee cordless tools from his company truck.

10:37 – I arrived in the 600 block of S. Madison St. for a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash. Driver 1 made a lane change from the inside lane to the outside land and struck Vehicle 2. Both vehicles were southbound.

Saturday, March 25

11:25 – Officers were dispatched to East Street and MacArthur Drive at the roundabout for a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash without injury. One male was issued a traffic summons.

14:02 – I was dispatched to a one-vehicle, non-injury motor vehicle accident at Highway 171 and Prairie Flower Road.

Sunday, March 26

13:57 – I was contacted at WCPD regarding a past-tense property damage. The incident occurred at 1836 S. Oronogo St. #4B.

14:51 – I was dispatched to 517 N. Pennsylvania St. for a past-tense property damage.

15:06 – Officers were dispatched to a juvenile issue at 825 Prospect St. One female adult was arrested for resisting detention.

22:24 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart  reference a theft in progress. A 19-year-old female was arrested for assault and shoplifting, and a 23-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Monday, March 27

14:45 – Officers were dispatched to Sixth and Oronogo streets for a crash.

Tuesday, March 28

14:09 – On 03-28-2023 at 1409 hours, Officers were dispatched to a crash at 171 and East St. Report taken.

17:03 – An officer was dispatched to 4548 Pool Road in reference to a past-tense assault.

Wednesday, March 29

05:00 – I located a stolen vehicle in front of 1414 Nelson St. The vehicle was recovered and an investigation was started.

08:30 – Officers responded to MacArthur Drive and Centennial Street at the roundabout in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

08:52 – I was dispatched to Second and Liberty Street for a suspicious item on the side of the roadway. The item was checked and found to be abandoned property. It was later placed into evidence for safekeeping.

13:36 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury vehicle crash.

14:50 – I was dispatched to Webb City High School in reference to the possession of narcotics. Evidence was seized and a request for possession charges were sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

16:00 –Officers responded to Madison and Daughtery streets in reference to a crash.

20:52 – Officers were dispatched to 722 W. Third St. for a well-being check.

Thursday, March 30

I was advised of an alleged past-tense incident involving sexual misconduct between a 5-year-old girl and her 11-year-old brother. The incident was alleged to have happened in the 1100 block of Broadway.

17:40 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

18:00 – An individual brought some found property that was located somewhere on Liberty Street to the WCPD. Items were placed into evidence for safe keeping until the owner can be located.

Friday, Mach 31

20:52 – Officers were called to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a single-vehicle injury crash. The 24-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for improper lane use, expired license plates, no insurance, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, driving while intoxicated, and felony warrants out of Arkansas.

22:11 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Hall Street. One adult female was taken into custody after a short pursuit for resisting arrest, warrants and multiple moving violations.

22:36 – I was dispatched to 721 S Ellis St. for a medical unknown call. A juvenile female passed away.

Saturday, April 1

12:00 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a civil stand-by. One female was arrested for multiple charges including assault on a law enforcement officer.
