Thursday, April 27

13:26 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 13th and Madison streets. A 44-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

14:59 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Mini Storage, 1038 N. Madison St., in reference to theft of a trailer. Charges have been submitted against one male to the municipal prosecutor.

18:42 – Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Jefferson St., reference a disturbance. Found property was also reported.

Saturday, April 29

21:40 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Broadway for a non-injury motor vehicle accident. A citation was issued.

Sunday, April 30

12:38 – An officer was dispatched to check for a careless driver near the roundabout. The vehicle reported was located.

14:20 – I received a call for service at 1718 McKenzie Circle in reference to theft from a motor vehicle while it was at 501 S. Madison St.

20:56 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a past-tense domestic assault that occurred at 327 S Webb St.

21:08 – I made a traffic stop near Fountain Road and Redwood Drive in reference to license and traffic violations. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, May 1

13:03 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

13:57 – Officers were dispatched to a non-injury accident at the roundabout.

14:02 – Officers were dispatched to a medical call in the 10 block of S. Hall St.

14:10 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft at 1734 Betenbough Way.

14:18 – I was dispatched to the roundabout at in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

18:06 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. reference a runaway juvenile.

21:13 – Damage to a vehicle was reported while it was parked at 826 N. Walker St. Charges will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 42-year-old female and a 20-year-old male for property damage.

Tuesday, May 2

03:19 – An officer was on general patrol and discovered a pile of striped wire near 1260 E. Fountain Road.

11:15 – I arrived in the 800 block of W. First St. reference a female juvenile in possession of a THC vape. The item was taken as evidence and a report forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office

15:50 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft from 1310 S. Madison St. The victim reported someone used her credit card information to make a purchase at Sonic.

17:31 – I was dispatched to the 4400 block of Country Blvd. for a juvenile acting out against his mother.

18:21 – Officers were dispatched to 402 N. Walker St. for a physical domestic in progress. A 35-year-old male received a citation for domestic assault.

19:00 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. reference a possible runaway.

Wednesday, May 3

While monitoring traffic near East and First streets, I was contacted by a woman wanting to report harassment. She reported she was being followed by another woman.

07:10 – An officer was dispatched to 1814 Chickadee in reference to a non-injury crash involving a parked car.

12:01 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense harassment complaint, which originally occurred at 618 S. Hall St.

16:37 – An officer was dispatched to Hall Street and Fountain Road in reference to a non-injury crash.

16:43 – I was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a disturbance. The caller reported her son was out of control and destroying the house.

17:20 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

20:59 – I was dispatched to a non-injury traffic crash at 1610 S. Oronogo St.

Thursday, May 4

05:03 – I recovered a stolen vehicle out front of 1101 Mineral St.

09:42 – I was dispatched to 916 Megan Lane for a report of trespassing. A 64-year-old man refused to leave the property and was arrested for trespassing.

10:57 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to delivery of a controlled substance. The substance was seized and a request for the charge of delivery of a controlled substance to a person under 17 years of age was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

16:33 – An officer was dispatched to 501 S. Ball St. in reference to an assault that had just occurred.

17:01 – An officer was dispatched to a MacArthur Drive and Main Street for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

Friday, May 5

07:33 – I was dispatched to 422 N. Washington St. for a past-tense property damage.

13:40 – I responded to the 700 block of N. Campbell St. to assist METS with a medical call. A female was pronounced deceased by EMTS a short time after our arrival.

13:50 – I stopped a silver Dodge Durango for failure to yield to traffic and expired temporary tags. The female driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Southwest City.

19:03 – Officers conducted a car stop at 2023 W. Fifth St. One female was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Saturday, May 6

11:04 – I was contacted at WCPD for a theft that had occurred at 34 S. Main St.

13:53 – I was dispatched to Aylor and Tom streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.
