17:22 – I was dispatched to East Street and Sharon Drive for a motor vehicle crash.

Thursday, May 11

14:16 – I was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt. 56 in reference to an assault. A 25-year-old female was issued a citations for domestic assault.

16:32 – I was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. in reference to harassment.

21:14 – Officers were dispatched to 337 S. Main St. in reference to a theft.

Friday, May 12

19:19 – An officer was dispatched to 1602 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

23:44 – I was dispatched to Main Street and MacArthur Drive as a backup unit. A 23-year-old female was arrested for DWI.

Saturday, May 13

01:42 – I made a traffic stop on a northbound black Chevy truck on Tom Street at Broadway. A traffic stop was made and a 37-year-old female was arrested for tampering.

02:10 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report. A vehicle was stolen while it was at 66 Bar and Grill, 600 E. Broadway.

18:37 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in theft from motor vehicle which happened at 1100 W. Crow St. Apt. 1.

21:42 – A traffic stop was conducted in the area of East Street and Gene Hatfield Drive. One male was taken into custody for felony warrants and tranported to jail.

23:33 – A traffic stop was conducted at Sixth and Oronogo streets. One male was taken into custody for DWI, trespassing and resisting arrest.

Sunday, May 14

01:15 – A car stop was conducted at Mount Hope Road and Cypress Drive. One male was arrested for DWI and transported to the jail.

01:17 – An officer was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., in reference to a past-tense theft.

02:54 – An officer was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S Main St., in reference to a shoplifting that had just occurred.

13:23 – Officers were dispatched to an apartment located in the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St., reference a medical unknown. A 61-year-old female was found deceased.

15:31 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to threats at 1621 Prier Drive.

18:55 – I was dispatched to a juvenile runaway at King Jack Park. She was turned over to juvenile office for a hold.

Monday, May 15

11:54 – I was dispatched to 402 S. Jefferson St. for a past-tense theft.

14:42 – Officers took a walk-in report at WCPD for medications missing from 824 N. East St.

15:34 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the round about.

15:46 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.

15:53 – Officers responded to a secondary crash at Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive.

18:15 – An individual reported they found some bones at 722 W. Daugherty St. The bones were collected and will be checked to see if they are human or animal remains.

18:25 – Officers were dispatched to 223 S. Tom St. in reference to a wanted person. A 30-year-old male was arrested on a Jasper County warrant.

19:00 – Officers were dispatched to a flourishing-weapon call at 1891 S. Madison St.

Tuesday, May 16

20:29 – An officer was dispatched to Zora and Wellington streets for a suspicious vehicle. It was abandoned, blocking traffic and was towed.

Wednesday, May 17

08:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Pennsylvania St., reference a vehicle theft. The vehicle was entered as stolen.

09:00 – I was advised a male with a Cherokee County warrant may be staying 700 block of N. Liberty St. He was later located and arrested.

15:06 – On 05-17-2023 at 1506 hours, an officer was dispatched to 708 N. Ball in reference to a past-tense crash involving a parked car. As a result a crash report was completed.

16:03 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Crestwood Drive reference a property-damage complaint.

17:43 – An officer was dispatched to 610 S Madison St. in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

22:06 – Officers were dispatched to 310 E. Fountain Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. One adult male was taken into custody for active warrants.

Thursday, May 18

09:40 – Officers were informed of a paste-tense assault that had occurred at a bus stop in the area of Broadway and Oak Street.A report was forwarded to the juvenile office. Parents and school officials were informed.

13:00 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to an assault at 703 N. Main St.

17:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of S. Cedar Circle reference an assault in progress.

17:33 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident. One driver received a citation.

Friday, May 19

06:48 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a report for a past-tense ex-parte violation that occurred at 327 S. Webb St. Charges will be forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.

10:10 – I was dispatched to Hall and Zora streets for a past-tense hit-and-run two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle accident.

15:17 – Officers were dispatched to a multi vehicle crash to the west of the intersection at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street.

17:22 – I was dispatched to East Street and Sharon Drive for a motor vehicle crash.

21:29 – An officer was dispatched to Stadium Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non injury, motor vehicle crash. A 39-year-old male driver was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way and failure to show valid proof of insurance.
