Saturday, May 27

02:20 – I conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street. The female driver was taken into custody for having a suspended license.

13:18 – I stopped the driver of a red Dodge truck near Betenbough Way and Isabella Lane for a traffic violation. The driver was issued a summons and arrested on an active Jasper County warrant.

16:34 – I was dispatched to 1209 W. Seventh St. for a disturbance. The caller reported her ex-boyfriend would not return her vehicle. Once the vehicle was returned, a license plate from a stolen Buick was located in the trunk.

18:04 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. The investigation is ongoing.

18:54 – I was dispatched to 1327 S. Jefferson St. for an exparte violation. A female was taken into custody for trespassing and resisting arrest.

23:22 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a sexual assault that occurred in the 800 block of W. 14th St.

Sunday, May 28

10:21 – Officers were on patrol in the Hatten Park area when it was observed that someone had attempted entry into a building. The building was resecured and a report was taken.

22:57 – I made a traffic stop near Tom and First streets in reference to a wanted subject. One adult female was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Monday, May 29

An officer was dispatched to 101 N. Cedar St. in regard to a burglary.

07:30 – I was dispatched to 804 S. Hall St. for a past-tense property damage.

08:28 – I was dispatched to 710 W. Second St. in reference to property damage.

09:48 – I was dispatched to 1019 Country Side for a found item, which was placed into evidence for safekeeping.

09:54 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a report of harassment that occurred at 405 N. Webb St.

18:50 – An officer took a report of a stolen bicycle from 1115 W. Nelson St.

Tuesday, May 30

01:27 – An officer was dispatched to 405 E. Fifth St. for a wanted person. A 26-year-old male was taken into custody for a Webb City warrant.

08:16 – Officers were dispatched to 805 E. Wickersham Drive in reference to a past-tense burglary.

14:30 – I was dispatched to Range Line Road near Zora Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A report was taken.

18:30 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 1101 W. Aylor St.

Wednesday, May 31

07:18 – Officers were dispatched to Tom and Wood streets reference a suspicious person. A juvenile male was taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County Juvenile Detention Center on the charges of runaway and tampering.

16:00 – I arrived at 806 N. Wilson St. reference a warrant arrest. One female was arrested on two Joplin warrants and transported to the Joplin jail.

18:11 – An officer responded to the 500 block of N Ball St., where a juvenile was entered as a runaway.

22:30 – I was dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

Thursday, June 1

02:22 – I was dispatched to 502 N. Ball St. in reference a domestic in progress.

07:13 – Officers were on patrol in the 900 block of W. First St. when they observed a male subject known to have several warrants step out from a residence and then run back inside upon seeing us. Contact was made with another resident who was able to talk the subject into surrendering. Two additional subjects were arrested on outstanding warrants as well.

15:19 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a female being detained there for shoplifting merchandise.

17:52 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1525 S. Madison St. for failure to register. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

19:25 – I was dispatched to the area of 201 N. Main St. in reference an intoxicated subject walking into traffic. One adult male was taken into custody for safekeeping.

Friday, June 2

00:30 – I made a traffic stop at 337 S. Main St. in reference to traffic and equipment violations. One adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

10:40 – Officers were dispatched to 911 W. First St. in reference to a disturbance.

11:06 – Officers were dispatched to 916 Megan Lane in reference to a fraud.

11:32 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a protection order violation that occurred at 327 S Webb St.

12:10 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a runaway juvenile from the 900 block of W. Third St.

12:23 – I was dispatched to Broadway and Roane Street for a disturbance. A male was later taken into custody for drug paraphernalia and prohibited weapons.

17:25 – An individual reported their license plate was stolen from 202 E. Broadway.

Saturday, June 3

09:41 – I was dispatched to 2301 N. Range Line Road for a past-tense fraudulent use of a debit card.

17:25 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a trespassing and shoplifting. A 48-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, shoplifting, and trespassing.
