An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of theft of property.

Saturday, June 10

17:31 – I observed a male who I knew had two Webb City warrants for his arrest riding a bicycle through the Webb City High School parking lot. He was contacted and subsequently arrested for the two warrants.

18:58 – Officers were dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt 5 in reference to a domestic disturbance. A 43-year-old male was arrested for active warrants and cited for domestic assault. A 36-year-old female was cited for domestic assault as well.

Sunday, June 11

10:15 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods for a shoplifting that had just occurred. A male subject was taken into custody and charged with stealing.

16:53 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

Monday, June 12

00:44 – I was dispatched to a departmental assist at 1502 S Ellis Apt. 76.

13:21 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.

18:10 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a walk-in report regarding theft of a bicycle.

18:35 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Main Street for a motor vehicle crash.

18:55 – Officers were dispatched to 1107 S. Madison St. in reference to a non-injury crash.

Tuesday, June 13

00:02 – An officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Matthew Circle for a report of child molestation. One 65-year male was arrested for child molestation 2nd degree.

04:26 – Officers were dispatched to 1331 W. 16th St. in reference to a disturbance. One male was located and arrested for trespassing.

08:45 – I was on routine patrol in King Jack Park when I observed two-vehicles parked in the tree line stripping wire. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding Newton County warrant.

15:21 – I was dispatched to 214 S. Roane St. for a domestic in progress with a knife. A 32-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.

17:35 – I was dispatched to 721 S. Madison St. for a disturbance.

18:24 – An officer was dispatched to Sleep Inn, 221 S. East St. in reference to a theft.

20:02 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of fraud.

20:27 – An officer was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt 2F in reference to a theft. Information was gathered and a report was taken.

21:50 – Officers were dispatched to 1723 Redwood Drive in reference to a domestic assault. One adult male was arrested for felony domestic assault and resisting.

Wednesday, June 14

I was dispatched to 524 N. Webb St. in reference to threats. Upon arrival into the area the suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody on multiple active warrants for his arrest, and a firearm was located.

11:27 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Hall St. reference a past-tense assault/property damage. A male and female subject were mailed citations.

13:09 – On 06/14/2023 at 1309 hours, I was dispatched to 1011 W Macarthur in reference to a peace disturbance. As a result, one adult white male was given a citation and released.

14:13 – I was dispatched to the 4500 block of E. Zora St. in reference to a stolen license plate.

20:41 – An officer was dispatched to 202 S. Hall St. in reference to found/abandoned property.

23:19 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Highway 171 and Prairie Flower Road. One adult male was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Thursday, June 15

09:03 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

10:27 – I was dispatched to 604 S. Madison St. in reference to a found item.

10:34 – I received a call for service at the Municipal Court in reference to theft.

10:50 – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Ball St. reference an animal bite. A female subject received a citation for dog at large.

11:31 – I found an abandoned vehicle at 310 W. Fountain Road while patrolling. The vehicle was towed.

11:41 – Officers were dispatched to the 17th Place Apartments, 1600 block of S. Ellis St., reference a found toddler. DFS was notified.

12:37 – Officers were dispatched to Zora Street and Range Line Road reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident. A male subject was cited for careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.

13:16 – Officers were on general patrol near Casey’s, 1525 S. Madison St. when they observed a male subject who was known to have warrants for his arrest. He was contacted and taken into custody without incident.

13:56 – I received a call for service at 1100 S. Hall St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

19:54 – An officer was dispatched to 410 N. Hall St. in reference to a found item.

Friday, June 16

06:12 – Officers were dispatched to White Oak Station, 411 S. Madison St., in reference to a past-tense forgery that occurred at 03:32 June 16.

14:02 – I was southbound at Madison at 12th streets when I observed the passenger vehicle in front of me with a warrant attached. A 31-year-old male was arrested for a warrant.

16:33 – I observed a gray passenger vehicle leaving Cardinal Stop, 306 N. Main St. As the vehicle was leaving, he drove over the curb onto the road instead of using the driveway. A 32-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

20:44 – Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Stadium Drive for an attempted suicide. As a result of the call for service a 74-year-old male was transported by METS to Freeman West for a mental evaluation.

21:34 – An officer was dispatched to 216 N. Roane St. for a missing person.

Saturday, June 17

09:30 – I took a report of a past-tense 2nd degree sodomy that occurred on Oct. 2, 2022, in the 1600 block of Crestwood Drive. The vicitim now resides in Florida and wished to make a report involving a past boyfriend.

09:46 – Officers were dispatched to 708 N. Tom St. in reference to a domestic assault. One male was taken into custody.

16:15 – I arrived at 216 N. Roane St. reference a missing 20-year-old male subject. The subject was entered as missing.

17:57 – Officers were dispatched to 810 W. Austin St. in reference to a verbal altercation. A 37-year-old male was charged with assault.

02:40 – Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of First and Main streets. One male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

09:40 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a dog bite.

11:07 – I was dispatched to Walmart for shoplifting. A 57-year-old male and a 27-year-old male were arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.

14:48 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense theft.

23:08 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Hall St. in reference to a suicidal subject. One 41-year-old male was transported to Freeman Hospital for a mental evaluation.

Sunday, June 18

16::43 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Pennsylvania St. in reference to an in-progress domestic assault. One juvenile was taken into custody and turned over to the juvenile office.

18:26 – Officers were dispatched to 817 Horseshoe Drive in reference to drug activity. The items were recovered for disposal.

Monday, June 19

Damage was done to a police car by a mower throwing rocks at WCPD.

07:48 – I was dispatched to 1306 W. Daughtery St. in reference to a burglary past-tense.

11:09 – I received a call for service at 324 Rose Lane in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving a motor vehicle and animal.

12:18 – I received a call for service at Dollar General, 1510 S. Madison St., in reference to shoplifting.

15:56 – I responded to 604 S. Madison St. in reference to vehicle crash in the parking lot. One of the vehicles, a black Nissan Altima, fled the scene immediately after the collision.

17:57 – I was dispatched to 216 N. Roane St. reference a missing 20-year-old male subject. The subject was entered as missing.

18:16 – I was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Hall St. for a domestic past-tense. A juvenile was taken to juvenile office for running away.

21:01 – I conducted a traffic stop at Hall Street and Enterprise Avenue. A male was taken into custody for a warrant out of Joplin.

Tuesday, June 20

A female suspect was arrested on two charges in the 200 block of S. Main St. for misuse of emergency communications and disturbing a judicial proceeding.

16:59 – I was dispatched to a two vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident at 13th and Madison streets.

21:56 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a found runaway juvenile, who was given to mom.

Wednesday, June 21

08:26 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for a possible female shoplifter. A female was later taken into custody for outstanding warrants and other charges.

09:12 – Officers were dispatched to Take-A-Break, 417 S Main St., in reference to a past-tense property damage.

13:52 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to an identity scam.

17:40 – I was dispatched to 1010 S. Jefferson St. for a past-tense burglary/theft.

Thursday, June 22

01:25 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Daugherty and Washington streets. A male was arrested for DWI, speed, and stop sign violations.

05:24 – An officer was dispatched to 514 N. Hall St. for found property. The items were seized and a report was completed.

09:55 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. for a past-tense possible sexual misconduct.

10:00 – Officers responded to Zora Street and Range Line Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury vehicle crash.

12:00 – I took a report of a found cell phone at the city park near Rudondo Drive and Aylor Street. An owner was not able to be identified and the phone has been placed into evidence.

16:15 – I was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Ball St. for a runaway juvenile who had also assaulted her little brother. The juvenile returned home a short time later. A report was generated to be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

16:26 – Officers were dispatched to Hall and Zora streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash. One male was cited for driving while suspended.

18:04 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 2077 Stadium Drive.

20:26 – I was dispatched to 318 Crestwood Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress.

22:01 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Roane in reference to a runaway.

Friday, June 23

00:16 – I was dispatched to 821-2 W. Daugherty St. in reference to a past-tense theft.

03:27 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a single-vehicle crash. On female was taken to jail for DWI, active warrants, and driving while suspended.

08:29 – I received a call for service at 700 N. Main St. in reference to a small child, 3 to 5 years of age playing outside without adult supervision.

11:04 – Officers were dispatched to 13th and Madison streets in reference to a non-injury crash.

Saturday, June 24

02:15 – I made a traffic stop near Roane and Second streets in reference to license violations. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.

08:07 – I received a call for service at 1802 S. Oronogo in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

10:32 – I received a call for service in the 800 block of N. Elliot St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

11:13 – Officers were dispatched to 14th and Madison streets in reference to an injury crash.

15:30 – I received a call for service at 1802 S. Oronogo in reference to tampering with a motor vehicle.

21:17 – Officers contacted an occupied stolen vehicle at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St. The vehicle was recovered and one adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, June 22

04:19 – Officers were dispatched to 1331 W. 16th St. for suspicious activity.

08:22 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft. The theft occurred at 1302 N. Main. A report was generated.

17:31 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident, leaving the scene, on a parking lot. No one was injured.

Friday, June 23

18:44 – I was dispatched to 517 N. Webb St. in reference to a male with warrants being there. An arrest was made.

21:50 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a female being in the lobby wanting to report fraud.

Saturday, June 24

09:39 – Officers were dispatched to Madison and 14th streets reference a two-vehicle non-injury accident. A driver received a citation for failure to yield.

17:04 – I was dispatched to Gold Dust Drive and 14th Street for a found bicycle in the bushes. The bicycle was seized.

Sunday, June 25

00:11 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at W. Second and Jefferson streets. An adult male was taken into custody for multiple warrants and an adult female was taken into custody for multiple warrants out of different agencies.

11:48 – I received a call for service at MacArthur Drive and Main Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

15:57 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Ball St. reference a runaway. A 13-year-old juvenile was entered as a runaway.

16:16 – Officers were dispatched to 111 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a theft. A 32-year-old male was arrested for stealing.

16:46 – An officer was dispatched to 712 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a property damage to a vehicle.

18:25 – I was dispatched to the 200 block of N. Roane St. in reference to a missing person.

18:39 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a found property at 301 N. College St. Reading glasses were seized.

Monday, June 26

09:28 – Officers responded to 3517 W. Red Iron Drive for a past-tense theft.

10:13 – I was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. for a past-tense trespassing and property damage.

10:43 – I was dispatched to 522 N. Ball St. for a past-tense property damage.

10:45 – I was dispatched to 311 S. Roane St. in reference to an animal bite.

11:17 – Officers were dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. Apt #205 for an animal complaint. Follow-ups were completed and the dog was returned to its owner.

12:03 – I was dispatched to JE Auto, 302 W. Fourth St. in reference to stolen license plates.

13:08 – Officers were dispatched to 1897 S. Madison for a past-tense theft.

13:09 – I was dispatched to 1566 Anderson Drive for a past-tense theft.

16:04 – I was dispatched to 904 W. Third St. for a past-tense theft.

16:52 – I was dispatched to Casey’s General Store, 337 S. Main St., in reference to shoplifting. A 32-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and resisting.

18:09 – Officers were dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a domestic in progress. One male was taken to Freeman hospital for a 96-hour mental evaluation.

18:52 – Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East and Daugherty streets. One male was arrested for an active warrant.

19:38 – An officer was dispatched to 111 S. Pennsylvania St. to recover a found firearm in the yard at this address.

Tuesday, June 27

13:30 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Ball St. in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located.

07:30 – I received information about and checked out a stolen cell phone being disposed of at the kiosk in Walmart.

12:32 – An officer was alerted to the potential neglect of an animal at 511 N. Ball St. A puppy was taken for emergency medical treatment, and one 40-year-old female was cited for animal cruelty, and failure to comply with request for information from police officers.

17:56 – I was dispatched to 216 N. Roane St. in reference to property damage.

23:30 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at 411 S. Madison St. One female was arrested for outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.

Thursday, June 29

00:44 – I conducted a pedestrian check, which resulted in a male being taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

12:08 – An officer was dispatched to 1848 S. Oronogo St. #5A in reference to a past-tense theft.

14:23 – I was dispatched to 1636 S. Madison St. in reference to a past-tense domestic assault that occurred at 508 N. Liberty St. Charges were forwarded to the Webb City Municipal Court.

Friday, June 30

11:16 – I was dispatched to Eighth and Madison streets for a possible intoxicated driver. A 31-year-old male was arrested for DWI and open container.

14:08 – Officers were dispatched to 1703 W. MacArthur Drive for a report of property damage.

17:20 – Officers were dispatched to 328 S. Hall St. for a motor vehicle crash.

19:27 – I initiated a traffic stop near Betenbough and Lakeview drives. One male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

19:44 – Officers were dispatched to 1813 Blue Jay Drive in reference to a domestic assault. A 22-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.

21:35 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense harassment that occurred at Walmart.

Saturday, July 1

01:50 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Hall Street and Fountain Road for a lane violation. A 21-year-old male was cited and arrested for improper lane use, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while intoxicated.

03:14 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Ball St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
