05:00 – I conducted a pedestrian check at 10th and Alpine streets. A male was taken into custody.
21:59 – Officers were dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. in reference to threats to do harm.
Saturday, July 1
21:37 – Officers were dispatched to 324 N. Tom St. in reference to a past-tense assault that occurred at Cardinal Stop, 306 N. Main St.
Sunday, July 2
00:19 – Officer conducted a traffic stop at Sixth and Washington streets. One male was arrested for careless and imprudent driving and DWI.
14:16 – Officers were dispatched to 104 N. Madison St. for threats to do harm.
Monday, July 3
09:51 – An officer was alerted to a found wallet on the parking lot of First Christian Church, 219 S. Webb St.
15:57 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Range Line Road and Zora Street for a lane violation. The 36-year-old female driver was cited and arrested for improper lane use, driving while revoked and felony driving while intoxicated.
22:03 – An officer was dispatched to 915 N. Main St. in reference to property damage.
23:57 – I was dispatched to an unknown-injury crash at Broadway and College Street.
Tuesday, July 4
08:56 – An officer was dispatched to 2227 S. Hall St. in reference to a theft. The victim reported over the weekend someone had entered his garage and stolen several items.
23:21 – I was dispatched to the intersection of Stadium Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.
Wednesday, July 5
08:16 – I conducted a traffic stop on Range Line Road near Zora Street. The driver was later taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
11:16 – I observed a red passenger vehicle with a license violation. Two females were arrested on warrants.
12:53 – I was dispatched to 1510 S. Madison St. for a disturbance. Witnesses reported an adult male was hitting a child. The male and child left prior to police arriving. An investigation was opened.
14:20 – Officers were dispatched to 1420-A S. Madison St. for a shoplifting past tense. Information was gathered that later led to the arrest of one male.
15:03 – I was dispatched to 501 S. Ellis St. for a past-tense theft.
19:00 – Officers took a walk-in report at WCPD for a exparte violation at 420 W. Broadway.
Thursday, July 6
13::05 – I was dispatched to 502 S. Centennial Drive Apt I for a stolen vehicle.
14:10 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle crash.
17:15 – An individual came to the WCPD to report they were receiving threats while at 327 S. Webb St.
18:52 – An officer was dispatched to 328 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a past-tense theft.
Friday, July 7
07:09 – A parks and recreation employee turned in a bicycle and multi bike tool. The property was found in the area of the 10th and Pennsylvania streets in King Jack Park at 7 a.m.
07:30 – I received a call for service at 2227 S. Hall St. in reference to a past burglary.
08:44 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a motor vehicle accident at MacArthur Drive and Madison Street.
17:23 – I received a call for service at US Cellular, 1715 S. Madison St., in reference to three dogs barking at and being aggressive towards customers entering and exiting the business.
22:15 – Officers conducted a car stop at Prairie Flower Road and Betenbough Way. One male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, July 8
12:10 – An officer was dispatched to 2227 S. Hall in reference to a found item.
15:41 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a non-injury crash.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
