13:04 – Officers were dispatched to 660 E. Daugherty St. for past-tense property damage and stealing.
Officers responded to the non-injury crash at Madison and 12th streets.
Saturday, April 16
Officers were dispatched to 100 S. Main St. for a past-tense theft.
Monday, April 18
09:24 – I was dispatched to the 1600 block of Washington Terrace for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.
12:48 – I was contacted by phone for a past-tense harassment at 2501 N. Range Line.
15:10 – I was dispatched to 207 S. Main St. for a past-tense assault.
Wednesday, April 20
Officers responded to the alleyway behind 420 Rose St. for a report of a subject lying face down in the reporting party’s yard. One male was arrested and held on a 12-hour safe keep for intoxication.
10:00 – I was dispatched to 1032 W. Seventh St. for a theft. The caller reported someone stole the catalytic converter from her Ford F250 the previous night.
Thursday, April 21
Officers were dispatched to 329 S. Ball St. for a theft from motor vehicle that had occurred sometime the night of April 19.
Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Main Street and MacArthur Drive.
08:42 – I was dispatched to Galena and Elliott streets for a motor vehicle accident.
Saturday, April 23
20:07 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to threats being made at 1908 W. Fifth St.
17:57 – I was dispatched to King Jack Park for an assault in progress. Charges for assault will be filed for two subjects involved.
14:49 – An officer was dispatched to 1774 Redwood Drive for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
12:47 – I was contacted at WCPD to check the well-being on a subject.
Sunday, April 24
09:54 – An officer was dispatched to 710 N. Elliott St. in reference to found property.
22:10 – A 41-year-old female was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation from the 1100 block of Railroad Way.
22:34 – An officer was dispatched to 310 W. Galena St. in reference to harassment. Charges for harassment will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 30-year-old male.
23:47 – An officer contacted the occupants of a vehicle parked in the park after hours. Charges for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a weapon will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office on two male juveniles.
14:57 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. One adult male was taken into custody.
17:38 – I was contacted at WCPD about a past-tense assault.
Monday, April 25
Officers were dispatched to 606b Easton Drive for a well-being check.
Officers were dispatched to Oakland Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle crash.
16:02 – I was dispatched to Madison and Fourth streets for a motor vehicle crash.
Tuesday, April 26
07:50 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft from 826 W. First St. The victim reported someone stole a Senix brand weed eater from his carport.
20:46 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 729 Crockett St.. A report was taken.
00:25 – Officers were dispatched to 101 W. Daugherty St., in reference to subjects at this location breaking windows out of the building. It was later determined the address of the property damage was 208 N. Main St. A report was forwarded to the juvenile office.
13:52 – I was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a shoplifting. A 22-year-old was issued a citation for shoplifting.
15:42 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a report of theft from 520 N. Roane St.
09:55 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a report of trespassing in the 800 block of N. Madison St. The victim reported a juvenile from the same block has trespassed on her property.
16:48 – I was dispatched to 511 N. Ball St. for a medical call.
15:17 – Officers responded to a disturbance at 610 N. Liberty St.
Wednesday, April 27
Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of West Fifth St. in reference to a runaway juvenile.
11:50 – I responded to the 800 block of W. First St. in reference to a past-tense assault. One male juvenile was charged with assault.
Thursday, April 28
Officers were dispatched to North Oak Street and Stadium Drive in reference to a 2-year-old male child attempting to cross the roadway.
11:20 – I took a report of a past-tense assault that occurred at 14:50 hours, April 26, in the 800 block of W. First St. Two juveniles were charged with assault.
11:40 – I took a past-tense assault report from the 800 block of W. First St. that occurred at 09:00 on April 27. One female juvenile was charged with assault.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Galena St. reference harassment.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Galena St. reference harassment and while there found that an exparte violation had occurred.
13:17 – Officers were dispatched to 817 Horseshoe Drive in reference to a suspicious person. One adult male was taken into custody.
19:21 – A vehicle was reported stolen from 210 N. Oronogo St.
Friday, April 29
01:34 – Officers were dispatched to 732 Jillian Lane for an assault in progress. Charges will be sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor for further.
12:00 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise and Progress avenues for a speeding violation. The 20-year-old female driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, minor in possession of alcohol, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and driving while suspended.
21:03 – I made a traffic stop just west of Zora Street and Range Line in reference to a wanted subject. One adult male was taken into custody for several outstanding warrants, being a fugitive from justice, and driving while revoked.
19:07 – I made a traffic stop near Broadway and Ball Street in reference a possible intoxicated driver. One adult female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and open container.
15:34 – I was dispatched to Madison and 14th streets for a motor vehicle crash.
Officers were dispatched to 310 W. Galena St. for a suspicious activity call.
15:52 – I was dispatched to 111 W. Daugherty St. for a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in the parking lot.
09:44 – Officers were dispatched to Millennium Family Fitness, 1227 N. Range Line Road, for a theft. The caller reported someone had stolen an industrial HVAC unit from the building.
I was dispatched to the Joplin Humane Society to meet a woman with a stray dog reportedly found at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street. An investigation revealed the dog had been owned by the family since Dec. 2021, and it was no longer wanted. The owner tried to surrender the dog without having to pay any fees. A 39-year-old woman was cited for making a false report.
Saturday, April 30
11:00 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Nelson St. after dispatch received multiple calls about a black-and-tan Rottweiler-mix running loose. The dog belonged at 1414 W. Nelson St. and had attacked several people.
19:28 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference a suspicious person. One adult male was taken into custody for peace disturbance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
