Thursday, Aug. 24

16:12 – I was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the roundabout.

Saturday, Aug. 26

23:06 – Officers were dispatched to 518 N. Webb St. in reference to a disturbance. One adult female was arrested for an outstanding warrant, and one adult male was mailed a citation for property damage.

23:41 – An officer was contacted by the Bella Vista (Ark.) Police Department about a rape which occurred in the 200 block of S. East St. Information was obtained and an investigation was initiated.

23:55 – An officer was dispatched to 813 E. Linden St. for a past-tense burglary.

14:50 – I responded to a property damage call at 25 S. Hall St.

Sunday, Aug. 27

16:52 – Officers were dispatched to North Main and Aylor streets for a motor vehicle crash involving a suspect leaving the scene. One male was arrested for DWI.

Monday, Aug. 28

08:08 – I was dispatched to the roundabout in regarding a non-injury motor vehicle accident between two vehicles. A citation will be issued to driver two for failure to yield.

10:19 – I was dispatched to the intersection of Madison and Crow streets regarding a broke, down vehicle in the middle of the road.

10:43 – I was contacted at WCPD about an assault that had occurred at 1848 S. Oronogo St.

11:21 – I was flagged down by a citizen at Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., regarding possible animal cruelty.

22:33 – I attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle in reference to traffic violations at Hall and Zora streets. The vehicle led officers on a brief pursuit to Newman Road and Florida Avenue in Joplin. The male suspect fled on foot and was not located. But he was identified and charged with felony stealing, felony resisting, driving while revoked and multiple traffic violations. The vehicle was stolen out of Joplin.

Tuesday, Aug. 29

09:52 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a report of property damage that occurred at 1848-61 S. Oronogo St.

17:02 – I was dispatched to 635 E. Aylor St. regarding a peace disturbance.

Wednesday, Aug. 30

01:34 – An officer was dispatched to 511 N. Ball St. in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress.

06:24 – I responded to the report of a suspicious person at 733 W. Cardinal Drive. A 21-year-old male was arrested for multiple warrants.

11:10 – I was dispatched to 1897 S. Madison St. for a past-tense theft.

11:61 – Officers were dispatched to 1161 N. Oakway Drive for a suspicious person sleeping on a back porch. One female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Duquesne arrest warrant.

17:20 – An officer was dispatched to Range Line Road and Zora Street for an abandoned vehicle blocking traffic. The vehicle was towed from the roadway.

20:01 – Officers were dispatched to Madison and Seventh streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash, where one party left the scene. A 16-year-old female driver was located and citied for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and failure to yield righ-of-way causing a crash.

Thursday, Aug. 31

09:57 – I responded to an assault in progress at Casey’s, 1525 S. Madison St. A 49 year-old male was taken into custody for assault.

22:33 – An officer talked to an individual at WCPD about a violation of a protection order at the Jasper County Jail, 405 E. Fifth St., Carthage. Charges for violation of a protection order will be sent to the state prosecutor’ss office on a 26-year-old male.

Friday, Sept. 1

09:55 – Officers received a call for service at 522 N. Cedar St. in reference to a trespass in progress. A male was located on the property and arrested.

12:31 – I was dispatched to a suspicious person at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive. The subject was taken into custody.

15:37 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a threat to do harm.

19:49 – I was dispatched to 1715-C S. Madison St. regarding a past-tense disturbance. A male was taken into custody for domestic assault. A female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended/revoked and domestic assault.

20:25 – I was dispatched to 1604 Jefferson Circle in reference a domestic in progress.

22:36 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speed near Madison and Seventh streets. One male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

23:26 – I was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., regarding a theft in progress.

Saturday, Sept. 2

00:24 – I observed a vehicle cross the right fog line. The 50-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

11:15 – Officers received a call for service at 414 N. Roane St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Dispatch advised 911 was called and all you could hear was a female and children screaming and crying, and a male shouting and yelling. A male was subsequently arrested for domestic assault.
