Tuesday, Jan. 16

19:37 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to an intoxicated subject. A male juvenile, located nearby at the Waffle House, was charged with minor in possession.

Wednesday, Jan. 17

17:02 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress.

Thursday, Jan. 18

12:01 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft of property at 504 N. Liberty St.

13:32 – Officers made a traffic stop for no registration at 13th and Madison streets. One male was arrested for no valid driver’s license.

14:49 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. One 44-year-old male was taken into custody.

Friday, Jan. 19

21:53 – An officer was dispatched to 1100 Crow Street in reference to an intoxicated subject. The 45-year-old male was located and taken into custody on a 12-hour safe keep for his safety due to his level of intoxication.

Saturday, Jan. 20

14:43 – An officer was dispatched to 660 E. Daugherty St. in reference to a private-property crash.

19:39 – An officer conducted a check on a suspicious person in the area of Daugherty and Webb streets. A 28-year-old female was taken into custody for an active felony warrant.

21:15 – An officer initiated a traffic stop near the area of Myrtle and Zora streets for a lane violation. One 34-year-old male was taken into custody.

Sunday, Jan. 21

14:24 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a theft of property that occurred at 215 S. Oronogo St.

21:20 – I made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of N. Range Line Road in reference to traffic and equipment violations. One adult male was arrested for no valid drivers license.

Monday, Jan. 22

13:02 – Officers were dispatched to 207 W. Daugherty St. in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

13:34 – Officers were dispatched to 2105 S. Hall St. to check on suspicious activity that has been going on in the area. One male was taken into custody.

16:16 – Officers were dispatched to Eliis Point apartments, 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt 6, in reference to a disturbance in progress. One 41-year-old female was taken into custody.

18:00 – Officers at WCPD took a report of a violation of an order of protection near Madison Street and MacArthur Drive.

20:24 – An officer responded to 1338 April Crossing for a possible domestic. Charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office for theft of animal.

22:07 – An officer was dispatched to Stadium Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, leaving-the-scene motor vehicle crash.

Tuesday, Jan. 23

10:20 – Officers made a traffic stop at 13th and Madison streets for expired registration. One male was taken into custody for an expired license.

14:13 – Officers were dispatched to Missouri Board of Probation and Parole, 1919 N. Range Line Road for a suspicious person. One 37-year-old male was arrested.

15:30 – I was asked to assist a Division of Family Services investigator with a report of concern involving a child.

16:02 – The department DRE (drug recognition expert) officer was dispatched to WCPD to conduct a DRE Evaluation for the Joplin Police Department. The evaluation was conducted and a report was made which will be forwarded to the arresting officer.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

10:51 – An officer was dispatched to 1726-145 Redwood Drive in reference to found property.

11:29 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a threat to do harm at 777 Cardinal Drive.

12:40 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 S. Roane St. reference a trespass in progress. A male subject was arrested for burglary 2nd and resisting.

14:18 – I was dispatched to WCPD for property found at 618 N. Oronogo St.

19:08 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a past-tense assault that occurred at 202 E. Broadway. Charges were submitted to the state prosecutor.

Thursday, Jan. 25

06:00 – Walgreen’s management advised that a vehicle that had been left on their parking lot and had a tow sticker placed on it on Jan. 15 had been towed at their request.

10:13 – I was dispatched to 1999 S. Madison St. for a past-tense burglary.

12:54 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a past-tense theft.

14:50 – An officer was dispatched to 13th and Madison streets in reference to a non-injury crash.

16:09 – An officer was dispatched to A1 Easy Storage, 1215 W. 14th Street, in reference to a past-tense theft.

19:09 – Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Nelson St. in reference a medical unknown. As a result, a 66-year-old male was found deceased.

Friday, Jan. 26

01:00 – A male contacted WCPD about the skid steer he’d purchased had possibly been stolen. The skid steer and trailer were seized.

11:37 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and Fountain Road for an unknown-injury crash.

16:56 – Officers were dispatched to 4548 Pool Road in reference to a domestic in progress. The Department of Family Services was contacted.

23:27 – Officers responded to the Webb City High School parking lot for a hit-and-run crash.

Saturday, Jan. 27

02:02 – Officers were dispatched to 1527 W. Crow St. in reference a disturbance in progress. Three individuals were taken into custody.

10:59 – Officers were dispatched to 1836 S. Oronogo St. Apt 4A in reference to a stolen vehicle. One 64-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants.

14:00 – Parents came in to WCPD about a verbal altercation.The juvenile office was contacted.
