Tuesday, Feb. 13

19:29 – Officers responded to the 200 block of S. East St. for a check well-being. One juvenile male was turned over to his parents and the Jasper County Juvenile Office was contacted.

Friday, Feb. 14

21:36 – An officer responded to 216 N. Roane St. for a missing person.

Thursday, Feb. 22

15:16 – Officers were dispatched to Colonial Drive and MacArthur Drive in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident. One adult male was taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident and lane violations.

16:50 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft. A 29-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing and shoplifting.

Friday, Feb. 23

21:40 – Officers responded to Cameron Towers, 324 N. Tom St. Apt. 301, in reference to a trespassing. One male was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest.

Saturday, Feb. 24

14:03 – An officer was dispatched to Fourth and Madison streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.

Sunday, Feb. 25

An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1095 W Central St. for an expired temporary tag. A summons was issued and the temporary tag was seized.

01:59 – An officer responded to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., for a juvenile issue.

02:30 – The WCPD DRE (drug recognition expert) officer was dispatched conducted a DRE evaluation for Jasper County Sheriff Department at WCPD.

09:39 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Madison and Cardinal streets. One 33-year-old female was taken into custody for driving without a license.

09:45 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense disturbance at 1413 Crestwood.

11:14 – Officers were dispatched to the east side of the roundabout for a motor vehicle crash.

13:26 – Officers were dispatched to 1711 Redwood Drive for a physical domestic. Parties were separated.

17:49 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a report for a past-tense rape.

Monday, Feb. 26

08:42 – An officer was dispatched to 530 N. East St. in reference to a past-tense theft.

09:34 – I was dispatched to the 800 block of N. Madison St. for a runaway teenager.

11:11 – Officers responded to Wig’N Out Boutique, 20 S. Main St., in reference to trespass in progress. A male was subsequently arrested for trespassing.

18:00 – An officer was conducting patrol when he spotted a juvenile male reported as a runaway at Daugherty and Pennsylvania streets. One 16-year-old male was arrested and transported to the juvenile office for a juvenile warrant.

18:15 – I was dispatched to the 1700 block of Redwood Drive regarding an infant wandering the area alone without parental supervision. The guardian of the child was located, and the child was brought home and confirmed safe.

19:38 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a single-vehicle, non-injury accident. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and open container.

Tuesday, Feb. 27

07:05 – I stopped a cargo truck at 619 Stadium Drive for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended.

07:06 – I was dispatched to 1802-2D Oronogo St. for property damage.

08:35 – Officers were dispatched to 1400 W. Austin St. in reference to a trespass in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for trespassing.

09:03 – I was dispatched to Commerce Bank, 1311 S. Madison St. for suspicious activity.

11:48 – An officer was dispatched to 608 N. Liberty St. in reference to a past-tense property damage.

15:30 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft of merchandise.

15:47 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.

17:03 – An officer was detailing his car at 1703 W. MacArthur Drive when he was approached by a male for a suspicious package. The item was placed into evidence.

19:03 – Officers responded to Walmart, where one 60-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.

22:06 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge mini van at 13th and Madison streets. One 23-year-old female was taken into custody for driving with no valid drivers license.

23:10 – Officers were dispatched to Cameron Estates, 324 N. Tom St., for a trespass in progress. One female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Jasper County.

Wednesday, Feb. 28

13:53 – Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s in reference to a trespass in progress. A 59-year-old male was arrested for trespassing.

14:01 – An officer made a traffic stop at 894 S. Madison St. A 19-year-old male was taken into custody for no drivers license.

14:50 – I took a report of a past-tense assault that occurred in the 600 block of W. Aylor St. on Feb. 26 at 14:50 hours. A female juvenile was charged with assault and charges were forwarded to the juvenile office.

21:13 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Oakland Street and MacArthur Drive for expired tags (August 2023). A 33-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant.

22:50 – Officers were dispatched to 401-B N. Elliott St. in reference to a suspicious person. A property damage report for a damaged rear windshield was taken.

23:21 – Officers were at a call and learned of information of a ex-parte violation at 401-B Elliott St. Charges were sent for one 20-year-old male for ex-parte violation 1st offense.

Thursday, Feb. 29

03:14 – Officers responded to 723 N. Walker St. for a person welding a knife.

08:25 – An officer conducted a pedestrian check near Austin and Tom streets. One 37-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

09:36 – Officers were dispatched to 201 Powell Drive for a past-tense theft.

15:49 – Officers were in the area of 904 W. Third St. when they noticed a sex offender’s vehicle parked at residence too close to a school. A 49-year-old male was taken into custody due to violation of sex offender laws.

Friday, March 1

07:51 – I was contacted at the station in reference to a found wallet in the 1600 block of Prairie Flower Road.

10:26 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Main Street and MacArthur Drive. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving with a suspended license.

11:20 – I was dispatched to Highway 171 and Centennial Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

15:43 – I received a call for service in the area of Tom and Second streets in reference to a domestic and suicidal person. A male was subsequently taken to Mercy Hospital for mental evaluation.

Saturday, Feb. 2

00:03 – An officer conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations at Range Line Road and Kennedy Lane. One 47-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
