Thursday, March 7

15:41 – An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of W. Daugherty St. in reference to a runaway.

Saturday, March 9

19:15 – Officers were dispatched to 913 W. Third St. in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. One male was arrested for DWI, DWR, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest.

Sunday, March 10

14:47 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a protection order violation, which occurred at 1305 W. Austin St. on March 8 at 05:22 hours. Charges were sent to Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.

22:15 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a moped with no tail lights at 12th and Oronogo streets. One 28-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI- persistent, driving while revoked and failure to comply with ignition interlock requirements.

Monday, March 11

Officers were dispatched to 402 E. First St. for an assault in progress. One 30-year-old male was arrested for felony assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a defaced firearm, resisting arrest and delivery of a controlled substance.

05:32 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1636 S. Madison St. The 38-year-old male was arrested for a revoked license.

11:40 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., in reference to a theft that had just occurred. A 57-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting.

14:45 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

23:26 – While on general patrol, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Range Line Road and Zora Street. One male was taken into custody for outstanding Webb City warrants.

Tuesday, March 12

00:33 – Officers were dispatched to 621 S. Walker St., in reference to a disturbance in progress. A 34-year-old female was taken into custody for active warrants out of our agency.

15:20 – An officer was dispatched to 725 W. Austin St. in reference to a dog bite. One adult male was given a citation for vicious animal.

15:28 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for past-tense shoplifting.

16:12 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods in reference to a theft in-progress. Arrests were made on an adult male and an adult female for outstanding warrants.

17:37 – I was dispatched to the intersection of Hall and Zora streets regarding a non-injury motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles.

18:13 – Officers responded to McDonald’s for property damage that had occurred at 1169 Prairie Flower Road. One 49-year-old male was cited for property damage.

Wednesday, March 13

01:35 – Officers were dispatched to White Oak Station, 411 S. Madison St., in reference to suspicious activity. A 25-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants and received a new charge of giving false info to an officer.

08:00 – Officers were dispatched to 701 N. Hall St. for a report of suspicious activity. A 32-year-old male was arrested on multiple warrants and a violation of an adult protection order.

08:49 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.

09:30 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a walk-in report of theft that had occurred at 1512 Brewster Lane.

14:25 – I was dispatched to 1715 S. Madison St. for a found item.

20:13 – Officers initiated a traffic stop that led to a vehicle and foot pursuit on a small Honda pit bike at Myrtle and Zora streets. One 36-year-old male was taken into custody for resisting, possession of controlled substance, possesion of drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic offenses.

Thursday, March 14

10:32 – A officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to threats. A 64-year-old male was mailed a citation for peace disturbance.

15:57 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to fraudulent use of a debit card at Unique Liquor, 2611 N. Range Line Road on at 2015 hours on March 11.

16:17 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 337 S. Main St. A 38-year-old male was taken into custody on Carthage Warrants and was transported to Jasper County Jail.

21:16 – Officers were dispatched to 660 E. Daugherty St. about a possible intoxicated driver. One male was arrested for felony DWI.

22:35 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Eighth and Madison streets on a white Ford Fusion. One 35-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI-drugs.

Friday, March 15

01:36 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Liberty and Vine streets. The driver, an 18-year-old male, was arrested for DWI drugs.

09:23 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 545 W. 10th St.

10:06 – An officer was dispatched to 4550 Half Circle Road, in Country Acres Mobile Home Park, in reference to a stolen vehicle. One adult female was taken into custody for outstanding warrants, and charges for drug trafficking were sent to the Jasper County prosecutor.

11:30 – I responded to the area of Third and Tom streets in reference to a suspicious male walking around the area approaching the porches of residences. A male was subsequently arrested for Webb City, and Carterville warrants.

20:44 – I was dispatched to Walmart regarding a theft in progress. A citation was issued for shoplifting.

21:57 – I attempted a traffic stop near Range Line and Zora St. The vehicle fled and led officers on a short vehicle pursuit. The driver left the vehicle and fled on foot but was apprehended. An adult male was taken into custody for resisting arrest and traffic charges.

Saturday, March 16

09:11 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of Oronogo St. for a runaway juvenile.

13:00 – I received a call for service at 1423 Washington St. in reference to a license plate being stolen from a vehicle.

14:01 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a wallet found in the Walmart parking lot.

14:24 – I was dispatched to 1708 S. Madison St. for a careless and imprudent driver complaint.

15:30 – I was dispatched to 618-b Easton Drive for a subject flourishing a weapon.

16:24 – I was dispatched to WCPD for property found at 1708 S. Madison.
