Friday, March 4

21:46 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. A 46-year-old male was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, March 17

15:37 – I was contacted via phone for a past-tense possible fraud. The incident occurred at 1137 N. Oak Way Drive.

Friday, March 18

23:57 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at North Tom Street and East Vine Street. A 24-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Neosho and giving false info to an officer.

12:50 – I was dispatched to 1429 W. Broadway for a past-tense theft.

Saturday, March 19

22:39 – An officer was dispatched to 420 S. Hall St., in reference to property damage. As a result of the call for service a report was taken for property damage and the investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, March 20

02:53 – I was dispatched to 4521 E. Zora Apt D in reference a domestic in progress. One adult female was taken into custody for felony domestic, felony resisting arrest, violation of a protection order, trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

08:01 – I was dispatched to Sleep Inn for a suspicious person. As a result, a 35-year-old male was arrested for warrants and failure to identify himself.

15:23 – I was dispatched to 4491 #D East Zora St. in reference to property damage. The victim stated that she found a bullet hole behind the gas cap on her 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander.

14:19 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a trespassing in progress. A 38-year-old female was arrested for burglary.

Monday, March 21

01:03 – An officer was dispatched to the 10 block of S. Liberty St, in reference to a runaway call.

11:57 – A report was created for a disturbance that occurred at 118 S. Hall St.

14:12 – A report was created for a theft from motor vehicle at 836 E. Hawthorne Loop.

18:41 – Officers were dispatched to 702 S. Madison St. in reference to the theft of a catalytic converter.

Tuesday, March 22

07:05 – I was dispatched to King Jack Park for property damage and an abandoned vehicle.

20:30 – Officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting that occurred March 7.

18:24 – Officers were dispatched to 705 W 11th St for a check well-being.

19:49 – Officers were dispatched to 1771 Kent Drive for theft from mailboxes.

22:33 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. As officers were en route, the suspect fled the scene in a dark colored SUV. Information was obtained and chargwes will be sent.

13:23 – I was dispatched to 1015 Mineral St. for a theft from a residence.

Wednesday, March 23

01:56 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD to talk to an individual who wanted to make a report of an identity theft which occurred at 112 N. Oronogo St.

Thursday, March 24

04:54 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference a past-tense theft that occurred near the 1300 block of S. Oronogo St.

12:49 – Officers stopped a black Dodge truck at Oronogo and Seventh streets, where a driver was reported to have been under the influence. The driver was arrested for diving while intoxicated after a brief investigation on scene.

20:40 – I was dispatched to 411 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference an identity theft.

Friday, March 25

07:30 – Detectives were assigned to a past-tense theft case in the 200 block of S. East St. Two arrests were made.

08:15 – I interviewed an individual who had been taking photos of children at the King Jack Park soccer fields on March 23.

14:17 – I responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles at the roundabout.

09:28 – I conducted a traffic stop on Wood Street at Devon Street. The driver was cited for driving while suspended.

19:08 – I was dispatched to 721 S. Ellis St. in reference to a stolen vehicle.

21:15 – Officers responded to Walmart for a well being check. One subject was contacted and cited for misuse of emergency services.

07:33 – I was dispatched to Oronogo and 16th streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.

13:25 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft that occurred at 1703 W. MacArthur Drive.

Saturday, March 26

04:38 – Officers responded to McDonald’s for a single-vehicle crash. The vehicle fled the scene prior to officers arrival.

07:43 – Property damage was reported at 1502 Country Crossing.

18:58 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. A report was sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

21:33 – I stopped a brown Oldsmobile near the intersection of First and Washington streets in reference to a traffic violation. The vehicle initially failed to yield to the police lights and siren. As a result, the 28-year-old male driver was arrested for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, and the 32-year-old male passenger was arrested for failing to comply with a police officer requesting identifying information.
