Wednesday, Feb. 9

10:12 – I was dispatched to TitleMax, 1460 S Madison Ste. E, in reference to a bad check.

Monday, Feb. 14

09:24 – I was dispatched to Broadway and Ash Street in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

09:17 – I was dispatched to Just A Taste, 105 S. Main St., in reference to property damage.

Wednesday, Feb. 16

19:55 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense shoplifting. As a result charges for shoplifting and driving while revoked will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 44-year-old male.

Thursday, Feb. 17

On 2/17/2022 at 1718 hours officers were dispatched to the intersection of College and Broadway for a two-vehicle motor accident.

Friday, Feb. 18

08:17 – I was dispatched to 821 W. Third St. for a report of property damage.

13:18 – I was dispatched to Range Line Road and Zora Street for a motor vehicle crash.

Friday, Feb. 19

Officers were dispatched to Dairy Queen, 604 S. Madison St, for property damage.

07:52 – Officers were dispatched to 1576 Estella Way for property damage to a vehicle.

17:36 – An officer took a found-property report from a resident at 21 S. Ball St.

Sunday, Feb. 20

09:22 – I was dispatched to 1400 W. Austin St. Apt. 101 in reference to a lost or stolen wallet.

20:11 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft. Two adults were charged with stealing.

Monday, Feb. 21

08:32 – A person was reported missing from the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St.

12:54 – A report was made for property damage at the Church of Nazarene, 701 W. 10th St.

12:20 – I was dispatched to 1021 W. Seventh St. for a past-tense theft.

23:25 – Officers were dispatched to Sleep Inn and Suites, 221 S. East St., in reference to possible drug activity. A 46-year-old male and a 54-year-old male were arrested for delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

22:10 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Washington St. in reference to a possible hostage situation where an assault was occurring. A 49-year-old male was cited and arrested for misuse of the emergency communications and telephone system and filing a false police report.

16:16 – An officer was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

13:54 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to a minor in possession of alcohol. An open bottle of intoxicants was seized and a report was forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Center.

11:34 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a non-injury, two-vehicle, motor vehicle accident.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

02:25 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. Third St. in reference to a disturbance. A 64-year-old male was taken into custody for a mental evaluation.

11:15 – I arrived at McDonald’s in reference to a traffic stop made of a female suspect in conjunction with a charge of hindering prosecution. The female was arrested for hindering prosecution of a male subject with felony charges at 1031 Nelson St., that resulted in a foot chase and apprehension of the male suspect.

Thursday, Feb. 24

15:13 – I was contacted at 211 W. Broadway in reference to fraud at 226 S. Par Ave. A report was taken.

21:27 – I made a traffic stop near East and Aylor streets in reference to license and equipment violations. One adult male was charged with driving while revoked.

21:46 – I was dispatched to 222 S. Webb St. in reference to a past-tense property damage.

18:02 – I was dispatched to Dollar General, 1510 S. Madison St., for suspicious activity. A 33-year-old male was arrested on two active warrants and also charged with possession on marijuana.

Friday, Feb. 25

21:54 – Officers responded to the 1200 block of Elm Court for an out-of-control juvenile under the influence of alcohol. One subject was transported to the hospital.

I was dispatched to Madison Street and Broadway for an injury, one-vehicle, pedestrian motor vehicle accident.
