Thursday, Oct. 6

15:54 – Officers were dispatched to 740 Jillian Lane for a disturbance. One male was later arrested for peace disturbance.

08:52 – I was dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., for a theft. The victim reported she had several items, including a box with coins and medications, stolen from her room. A report was taken.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

15:39 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. Two females were arrested. One of them had a full U.S. extradition warrant.

Thursday, Oct. 13

07:30 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting incident in progress. The male suspect had left the area prior to my arrival. 

17:46 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft. The sustpect fled in a vehicle fled.

Friday, Oct. 14

15:08 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 40-year-old female was cited for shoplfting.

Saturday, Oct. 15

I was informed via email of a past-tense theft at Walmart. The loss prevention officer had emailed the information to me.

Sunday, Oct. 16

06:30 – I received a call for service at 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a domestic disturbance.

09:49 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Walker St. for a vicious dog. The caller reported a dog from 825 N. Walker St. tried to attack them. The owner was issued several citations related to animal control.

19:37 – An officer made a traffic stop near 10th and Jefferson streets in reference a traffic violation. One adult female was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

20:17 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.

Monday, Oct. 17

01:11 – I made a traffic stop near Main and Aylor streets in reference to a vehicle displaying stolen license plates. One adult male was arrested for stealing, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants.

05:44 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Austin St., reference a theft from motor vehicle.

09:26 – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Washington Terrace, reference a theft from a motor vehicle.

I was made aware of a past-tense fraud that had occurred at 1515 W. MacArthur Drive on Oct. 7.

10:54 – Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of W. 14th St. reference a catalytic converter theft.

13:40 – Officers were dispatched to Oak and Daugherty streets reference a motor vehicle accident. A male subject was transported to the hospital.

11:49 – Officers were dispatched to Ware and Hall streets for a careless and imprudent driver complaint. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.

Officers responded to 1305 S. Austin St. for a trespass in progress. A 35-year-old male was arrested for multiple charges.

19:00 – An individual walked to the front door of WCPD and dropped some papers off by the door and walked off. The items were gathered and placed into evidence until the owner can be located.

18:58 – An officer was dispatched to the baseball complex in King Jack Park for a possible violation of an adult protection order.

18:11 – An officer was dispatched to 702 W. Austin St. in reference to a found bicycle. The bicycle was taken to WCPD until the owner can be located.

22:10 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Wilson St. for a check well being. A 50-year-old female was taken to Freeman Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

07:30 – I was contacted via phone about a past-tense theft near a construction site at East Fountain Road and Eagle Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

11:32 – I was dispatched to Webb City High School, where several juveniles were involved in a fight.

20:16 – An officer was dispatched to 1305 W. Austin St. for a violation of an adult protection order. Charges against a 35-year-old male are being sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.

17:24 – I was dispatched to the area of Madison and Sixth streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

07:43 – I was dispatched to 13 S. Roane St. in reference to theft from a motor vehicle.

19:42 – Officers were dispatched to 310 N. Oak St. in reference to a reported physical assault with injuries. The investigation revealed that no physical assault resulting in injuries occurred, and the 47-year-old white female caller was cited for making a false report.

19:42 – Officers were dispatched to 310 N. Oak St. in reference a domestic disturbance in progress. A traffic stop was made near Nelson and Rose streets on the suspect vehicle. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

20:52 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference a shoplifting in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

23:01 – An officer was dispatched to 304 N. Madison St. to make a report of phone harassment. Information was forwarded to the municipal prosecutor.

Thursday, Oct. 20

06:12 – I was dispatched to 1617 Prier Lane for a stolen motorcycle.

11:03 – Officers arrived at 1028 Nelson St. for trespassing. The initial investigation revealed a 34-year-old woman left her infant and toddler at an address on McClelland Boulevard in Joplin unsupervised. She walked to Webb City and would not leave a friend’s home. The children were located home alone at the Joplin address. Joplin detectives arrived and initiated their own criminal investigation, which began in the Joplin City limits.

Friday, Oct. 21

08:39 – I was dispatched to Daugherty and East streets for a found item. The item was later put into evidence for safekeeping.

16:50 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart reference subjects shoplifting. A male subject was arrested.

19:42 – Officers were dispatched to the area of 726 S. Walker St. for a motor vehicle crash where one of the drivers fled the area.

22:40 – Officers were dispatched to the area of Daugherty and Tom streets in reference to a disturbance. A 28-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

17:12 – An officer was dispatched to 1607-A Goldstream Drive in reference to a burglary.
