You can now see the 1902 Joplin Picture Booklet, with 125 photos, on the web

This week we’re sharing two images you may not have seen of Lakeside Park.

They are in the 1902 Joplin Picture Booklet that was published by Means Moore Company.

The booklet contains 125 photographs of Joplin businesses, homes, mines and area attractions. It was donated by the Joplin Public Library to be part of the Missouri Digital Heritage Collection, hosted by the Missouri Secretary of State.

Webb City Area Genealogical Society

WCAGS members staff the Genealogy Room on the third floor of the Webb City Public Library. Current hours are noon to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the Genealogy Room.
