Tuesday, Aug. 5

22:45 – Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Madison St. for a suicidal subject. One 50-year-old female was placed on a 96-hour commit.

Thursday, Aug. 7

I was assigned a past-tense informational report of child abuse / neglect to look into. The alleged incident(s) were believed to have taken place in the 100 block of N. Ball St. in Webb City in 1989. This information was received from an agency in Washington State.

Friday, Aug. 8

20:46 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. for a male yelling for help. As a result, a 33-year-old male was placed on a 12-hour safe-keep.

Saturday, Aug. 9

13:06 – Officers responded to a medical call in the 100 block of N. Webb St. One male was pronounced dead on scene.

18:38 – Officers responded to the 700 block of Jillian Lane in reference to a dog at large. One 33-year-old male was cited for animal at large.

Sunday, Aug. 10

09:54 – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. First St. for a disturbance. A 16-year-old juvenile had assaulted the residents of the home.

11:36 – An officer was dispatched to 416 N. Washington St. for a report of found property.

14:42 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a report of harassment occurring at 207 Powell Drive.

19:14 – A male came into the station to report a catalytic converter was stolen at 300 S Pennsylvania St.

20:15 – Officers were dispatched to Vine and Tom streets for an assault. A 28-year-old female was arrested for assault.

Monday, Aug. 11

10:41 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft, which occurred at 719 W. 13th St.

21:41 – An officer conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Vine and Ball streets observed a red Solona 50 with moving violations. One male was taken into custody for DWI-persistent, unlawful possession of a firearm, driving while revoked, and assault on law enforcement. Charges were submitted to the state prosecutor.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

01:20 – Officers responded to the roundabout for a single-vehicle crash. One male was taken into custody for DWI.

09:04 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near 10th and Oronogo streets for a moving traffic violation. One 20-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and minor in possession.

12:07 – An officer was dispatched to Noble Knights Dermagraphcis, 1010 S. Madison St., in reference to a past-tense theft.

13:02 – Officers were dispatched to 223 W. First St. in reference to a disturbance. One adult white male was arrested for domestic assault. Upon a search of his person, a trafficking amount of fentanyl was located.

14:03 – I was dispatched to 1802-4C S. Oronogo St. for a report of a exparte violation. Charges will be sent to the prosecutor.

19:25 – I was dispatched to the 500 Block of N. East St. in reference to an assault in progress. One adult male was charged with domestic assault.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

09:11 – Officers were dispatched to 401 S. Hall St. for a past-tense theft.

10:18 – I was dispatched to 536 N. East St. for a past-tense theft of motor vehicle parts.

15:20 – I took a report of fraud that occurred at 1206 W. MacArthur Drive on Aug. 7, 2025.

19:00 – Officers were dispatched to 705 S. Madison St. for an ex parte violation.

20:54 – An officer observed a vehicle eastbound on MacArthur Drive at Main Street with no headlights or tail lights on. A 44-year-old male was arrested for no driver’s license.

22:10 – An officer conducted a pedestrian stop at Ball and Wood streets for a stop-sign violation. A 57-year-old male was arrested for Carterville and Jasper County Warrants.

22:11 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Galena and Main streets for an equipment violation. One 30-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI.

Thursday, Aug. 14

01:35 – An officer observed a vehicle eastbound on MacArthur Drive approaching the roundabout at East with no headlights and taillights on. A traffic stop was made, and a 25-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

17:49 – Officers were dispatched to 4491 E. Zora St. for a disturbance.

19:53 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Daugherty and East streets for failing to stop at a steady red signal. One 26-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-prior and driving while revoked.

21:11 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting.

22:02 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 36-year-old female was issued a citation for shoplifting.

Friday, Aug. 15

00:15 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Cardinal Drive on a vehicle that almost rear ended the patrol vehicle. The 19-year-old female driver was citied and arrested for improper lane use, careless and imprudent driving, failure to show valid proof of insurance, minor in possession of alcohol and driving while intoxicated.

03:09 – An officer checked on a vehicle in a closed parking lot. A 20-year-old female was arrested for DWI, minor in possession and open container.

10:18 – I was dispatched to Walmart for shoplifting in progress. The same female is accused of shoplifting at 10:59 a.m. Aug. 12. She was taken into custody for two counts of shoplifting.

13:13 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Madison Street and MacArthur Drive on a white off-road-style motorcycle for a moving traffic violation. The male failed to yield to officers and a pursuit was initiated. Captured after a brief vehicle and foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody for Valentine’s law (aggravated fleeing a stop or detention of a motor vehicle), driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, armed criminal action, and other traffic violations.

17:54 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Cardinal Drive for a motor vehicle accident.

20:40 – An officer made a traffic stop at First and Main streets. The driver was taken into custody for DWI, and the passenger was taken into custody for minor in possession.

Saturday, Aug. 16

10:54 – I was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Ball St. for a suicidal subject. A male was taken to Freeman Hospital on a 96-hour-hold.

12:53 – Officers responded to the 2000 block of Stadium Drive in reference to a disturbance involving patients and staff. A male was subsequently transported to Freeman Hospital for a 96-hour-mental health evaluation.

16:42 – I was dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Street for a motor vehicle accident.

17:52 – I was dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Eighth St. for a report of medical-unknown subject was deceased on arrival.
