Monday, Feb. 23
21:08 – An officer was on patrol near the industrial park when he observed a white Dodge Durango with moving violations at Enterprise Avenue and Red Iron Drive. A traffic stop was conducted at Eden Avenue and Hall Street, and one male was taken into custody for a Jasper County warrant.
Thursday, Feb. 26
14:28 – I was dispatched to 4515 E. Zora St. for a past-tense burglary.
Friday, Feb. 27
17:59 – Officers responded to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. Apt 506, for a report of harassment. A citation was issued.
22:10 – Officers were dispatched to 1802-6A S. Oronogo St. for a report of a disturbance. One male was taken into custody for DWI.
Saturday, Feb. 28
19:20 – Officers were dispatched to East and Daugherty streets for a check well-being. Contact was attempted at 660 E. Daugherty St. The male fled from officers and was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
Sunday, March 1
12:58 – I arrived at 524 W. Second St. for a theft. The resident reported someone stole a white 20” BMX bicycle with black and white tires. A report was taken.
13:33 – I arrived at Hall and Cottonwood streets to find an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
18:23 – Officers took possession of a knife found at 204 S. Webb St..
19:11 – Officers were dispatched to Stadium Drive and Madison streets for a careless and imprudent driver. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated at 825 Colonial Drive. One adult male was taken into custody for DWI-persistent.
Monday, March 2
I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to assault. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County Juvenile Detention Center.
00:13 – Officers responded to 707 N. Hall St. regarding an individual wanting to discuss a prior case that was originally investigated by Joplin Police Department.
15:50 – An officer made contact with a 45-year-old woman, who had a Webb City warrant, at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St.
Tuesday, March 3
02:26 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1703 W. MacArthur Drive for a traffic violation. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for DWI-drugs.
07:35 – An officer was dispatched to Roane and Arch streets in reference to a two-vehicle crash with reported injuries.
08:30 – I took a walk-in report from a man who was reporting a past incident involving his daughter. The alleged incident was reported to have taken place in the 1300 block of W. 16th St.
12:20 – An officer noticed a two-vehicle crash in the area of 16th and Madison streets.
15:04 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Bonnie Lane for an ex-parte violation. Charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor on a 23-year-old male.
15:19 – An officer identified a 39-year-old male in the area of Seventh and Madison streets who had active warrants. One 39-year-old male was arrested for outstanding Carthage and Seneca warrants.
17:36 – An officer was dispatched to 501 N. Ball St. in reference to property damage.
18:13 – An officer was dispatched to 520 N. East St. in reference to stealing.
22:33 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at S. Hall St. and Railroad Way. An adult female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Wednesday, March 4
03:01 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 14th streets. An adult male was taken into custody for driving while his license is revoked.
09:02 – Officers were dispatched to 709 Jillian Lane, where a 61-year-old female was issued citations for animal neglect.
17:44 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. A 37-year-old male was arrested for burglary.
19:30 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 1920 S. Hall St.
Thursday, March 5
16:41 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft.
16:41 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD for the report of a theft at 519 S. Roane St.
22:58 – I made a traffic stop near 1700 W. MacArthur Drive in reference to traffic violations. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
Friday, March 6
08:47 – Officers were dispatched to the area of 12th and Washington streets in reference to a suspicious vehicle. One 36-year-old female was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
09:59 – Officers were dispatched to First and Oronogo streets in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries.
10:41 – Officers took a walk-in report at WCPD regarding past-tense domestic violence.
12:26 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Austin streets for a license plate violation. The 28-year-old male passenger was arrested for Joplin warrants.
14:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding at Madison and Aylor streets. The 15-year-old male driver was cited for exceeding the posted speed limit in a school zone, failure to show valid proof of insurance and failure to comply limitations of his temporary instruction/driver’s permit.
15:19 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise and Progress avenues for a speeding violation. The 36-year old female driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while revoked.
16:18 – An officer was dispatched to 1707 Redwood Drive Apt 14 in reference to ongoing harassment. One 45-year-old female was issued a citation for harassment.
Saturday, March 7
14:42 – Officers were dispatched to Dollar General, 1510 S. Madison St., for a shoplifting in progress.
17:23 – An officer was dispatched to Madison and 16th streets in reference to a non-injury crash.
22:25 – An officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at MacArthur and Zigler Street. The 27-year-old male was arrested for DWI and driving while suspended.
