Tuesday, Feb. 17

20:18 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Seventh streets for no rear lights. A 23-year-old female was arrested for open container.

Wednesday, March 4

20:32 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a past-tense leaving-the-scene motor vehicle crash.

Friday, March 6

07:36 – I arrived at Sleep Inn and Suites, 221 S. East St. for a disturbance. A report for domestic assault was taken.

20:16 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Rose Lane for traffic violation. A 45-year-old male was arrested on a Joplin warrant.

Saturday, March 7

00:41 – An officer made a traffic stop at Zora and S Hall streets. One male was arrested for no valid drivers license.

18:05 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a past-tense theft. A report was taken for robbery 2nd and assault.

Sunday, March 8

Officers were called to the address of 524 S. Roane St. in reference to a theft.

00:03 – Officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed east on MacArthur Drive and a traffic stop was conducted. A 23-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

00:45 – Officers stopped a vehicle in King Jack Park for violating park hours. A 19-year-old was arrested for DWI, minor in possession and open container.

00:53 – Officers responded to Robert J. Baker Parkway for suspicious activity. A 36-year-old male was arrested for DWI-combo and resisting arrest.

19:47 – Officers were dispatched to 1838 S. Oronogo St. for a protection order violation.

21:14 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Hall St. for a nuisance complaint. An 18-year-old male was taken into custody for minor in possession and transported to Mercy Joplin for a 96-hour hold.

Monday, March 9

11:31 – I received a call for service at 502 N. Ball St. in reference to a past-tense assault.

15:57 – I took a walk-in report on a past-tense theft by deceit call. The victim was allegedly scammed out of his money by deceit while he was in the 1300 block of April Crossing.

Tuesday, March 10

09:04 – I was dispatched to 912 Megan Lane for a report of threats.

10:10 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to an internet scam originating in the 800 block of Chesterfield Drive. The victim reported that someone gained access to his phone and computer to make multiple fraudulent purchases.

15:15 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of theft. A female was interviewed.

22:54 – Officers responded to the 800 block of W. Second St. for a report of gunshots fired.

22:58 – A report was taken for a theft that occurred at 727 W. Broadway.

Wednesday, March 11

07:45 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a leaving-the-scene of a motor vehicle crash that took place at Aylor and Hall streets at 07:36 on March 11.

13:08 – Officers were contacted by Webb City Municipal Court in reference to a 42-year-old female who had warrants. She was arrested.

13:32 – An officer was dispatched to Webb City Municipal Court in reference to a subject there with possible Carthage warrants. One 26-year-old male was taken into custody.

14:30 – I was dispatched to Municipal Court for a male subject with an outstanding warrant. He was later turned over to Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.

Thursday, March 12

00:04 – An officer conducted an investigative stop at Fountain Road and Ellis Street on a vehicle that was called in for possibly having an intoxicated driver. The 21-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for failure to wear a seatbelt, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while intoxicated.

10:47 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a subject with active arrest warrants.

15:57 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Hall and Walker streets in reference to traffic violations. One 58-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked, and one 53-year-old male was arrested on a Joplin warrant.

17:09 – I was contacted at WCPD for a possible extortion/blackmail.

21:19 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Broadway for an expired tag. A 20-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI alcohol and minor in possession.

Friday, March 13

01:40 – An officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Madison St. at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. A 39-year-old male was taken into custody for operating without a valid license and a report was taken.

04:39 – Officers were dispatched to 803 Megan Lane for a disturbance in progress. A 23-year-old male was arrested for failing to identify.

10:24 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference a two-vehicle non injury accident. As a result a report was taken.

16:44 – On 03/13/2026 at 1644 hours, Officers were dispatched to 1212 S Madison, reference a trespass in progress. A 48-year-old male was taken into custody.

23:56 – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at Macarthur Drive and Oronogo Street. The vehicle fled and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. A 55-year-old male was taken into custody and booked in on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges as well as for outstanding warrants.

21:29 – Officers responded to the 1300 block of W. Daugherty St. regarding an individual who attempted to commit suicide inside a residence.

Saturday, March 14

14:14 – I was dispatched to Julian’s Diner, 1897 S. Madison St., for a report of a disturbance in progress.
