Wednesday, Feb. 26
15:43 – I was dispatched to 605 S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance. The scene was cleared with no report. However, one of the participants contacted the station on Feb. 28 requesting to file a report due to injuries sustained in the disturbance. A 65-year-old woman was cited for assault.
Friday, March 7
16:13 – I was dispatched to the WCPD in reference to an incident that happened on Feb. 27 at Third and Main streets. A 33-year-old was mailed traffic citations and a citation for endangering the welfare of a child.
18:21 – An officer was dispatched to 119 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a past-tense burglary.
Saturday, March 8
Officers conducted an investigative stop at Third and Madison streets for a vehicle with a warrant attached to its license plate. One 19-year-old male was taken into custody for a Jasper County warrant.
07:17 – An officer was dispatched to 811 W. Broadway for a disturbance in progress.
20:57 – Officers were dispatched to Main Street and Stadium Drive for a motor vehicle crash. One male was issued citations for traffic violations.
23:47 – Officers were dispatched to 1914 Chickadee Drive regarding a violation of an adult order of protection.
Sunday, March 9
03:12 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Centennial and Tracy streets for lane violations. One 47-year-old male was taken into custody and cited for DWI-alcohol.
12:33 – I was dispatched to 311 S. Tom St. for a past-tense burglary.
14:44 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. A 38-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.
17:08 – I was dispatched to 214 S. Tom St. for a past-tense property damage.
18:42 – An officer responded to the 800 block of E. Fountain Road in reference to a burglary past-tense. It was found to be a civil dispute between a landlord and tenant.
20:25 – Officers were dispatched to Mercy Hospital Joplin regarding a past-tense sexual assault that occurred in the 1600 block of S. Ellis St.
Monday, March 10
09:08 – An officer was requested to return a phone call in reference to a past-tense vehicle accident that occurred at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive.
14:57 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Walker St. reference a found child.
16:02 – I received a call for service at Homestead and Michaela drives in reference to property damage. A vehicle struck a Liberty Utilities utility pole guide wire damaging it and left the area.
17:26 – An officer was dispatched to 1859 Boyer Place in reference to a possible vehicle crash that occurred at Walmart the same date.
19:06 – Officers were dispatched to 1504 S. Madison St. for a burglary past-tense.
20:41 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a black Toyota Avalon with equipment violations. A traffic stop was initiated and a 24-year-old male was arrested for driving without a license.
22:02 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Fountain Road and Madison Street when he observed a silver Chevy Malibu with a moving violation. A traffic stop was conducted at 16th and Madison streets, and a 39-year-old was arrested for DWI.
Tuesday, March 11
10:32 – On 03/11/2025 at approximately 1032 hours, Offices were dispatched to the area of 414 S Hall St in reference to a disturbance in progress. As a result, one 35-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
14:16 – I received a call for service at Third and Main streets in reference to motor vehicle accident.
19:51 – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at College Street and MacArthur Drive for having no license plate. A 37-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI, driving while suspended, and endangering the welfare of a child.
23:02 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Ware and Centennial streets for a vehicle having no license plate. A 32-year-old female was taken into custody for Joplin warrants.
23:59 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 14th streets for a vehicle speeding. One 16-year-old was detained and transported to the juvenile detention center for a juvenile detainer warrant.
I was asked to take a walk-in report in reference to a past-tense juvenile assault. The alleged assault was said to have taken place in the 900 block of N. East St. on March 5.
Wednesday, March 12
01:01 – I made a traffic stop in reference a license violation. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
09:10 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a trespassing at 402 Carson Way.
12:45 – I was dispatched to Municipal Court, 200 S. Main St., for a subject with an outstanding warrant. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
13:03 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a theft. A 59-year-old man was cited for shoplifting.
14:30 – I was dispatched to 903 W. Daugherty St. for a past-tense burglary.
19:27 – A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of 14th and Madison streets. A female and male were taken into custody for driving while suspended and an active warrant from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
20:38 – Officers were dispatched to Oronogo and Fourth streets for a nuisance complaint. A 23-year-old male was arrested on Carthage warrants.
22:23 – A traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of 14th and Madison streets. A male was taken into custody and cited for driving with a suspended driving status.
Thursday, March 13
01:02 – Officers made contact with occupants of a white mustang at Oronogo/Galena for suspicious activity. An 18-year-old female came to jail for minor visibly intoxicated.
02:51 – Officers responded to 135 Wingfield Drive in reference to a vehicle theft. A vehicle pursuit ensued and one 30-year-old male was taken into custody on multiple felony charges.
08:18 – An officer was dispatched to 714 S. Madison St. for a suspicious person.
18:57 – Officers were dispatched to 951 Mckenzie Drive regarding past-tense property damage that had occurred at Walmart.
22:02 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at 1460 S. Madison St. for defective equipment and speeding. A 32-year-old male came to jail for driving while suspended.
Friday, March 14
02:00 – Officers were called to 66 Sports Bar, 660 E. Daugherty St., in reference to property damage. A 32-year-old male was arrested for property damage, resisting arrest, peace disturbance, and patronizing prostitution.
09:37 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby in reference to a potential theft at Wal-Mart.
Saturday, March 15
02:27 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a red Ford Focus with moving violations. One 31-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-persistent. Charges were submitted to the state prosecutor.
